About us
Part of the MODEC Group, MODEC in Singapore provides engineering design and consultancy services to support oil and gas extraction and offshore exploration activities. The Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation (EPCI) of Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessels and other floating production systems is handled by MODEC Offshore Production Systems (Singapore) and Offshore Frontier Solutions, the latter a joint venture company formed by MODEC Inc. and Toyo Engineering Corporation in 2022. A new execution center has been opened in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, as part of the company’s expansion plan to continue extending our capabilities and services to support our clients. OFS has also partnered with Toyo India to establish OFS India in Bengaluru, India. OFS India will execute Front End Engineering & Design (FEED) and detailed engineering, and provide procurement support for the topsides of FPSO projects, among its primary business activities. We aim to safely deliver and operate high-quality, innovative and environmentally friendly floating solutions for the Oil & Energy sector through excellence in execution and cutting-edge technology.

What a week at Gastech Exhibition & Conference 2026! ✨ Over the past few days, the MODEC booth brought together clients, partners and industry professionals to exchange ideas and highlight achievement on innovation and technology that can help in unlocking value for gas-related offshore projects. MODEC’s technical expertise also took the stage, with two professionals sharing insights and solutions at the Gastech Technical Conferences, at the Low Carbon Solutions Theatre. We are also proud of the recognition of achievement received by MODEC and Eld Energy for the development of Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFCs): ✔️ Completion of Technology Feasibility and Concept Verification stage of the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) New Technology Qualification (NTQ) process DNV Approval in Principle for the Eld Power Module 120kW. ✔️ The Approval in Principle (AiP) achieved for their joint Solid Oxide Fuel Cell technology for its 120kW offshore SOFC power generation unit designed for FPSOs. From meaningful connections to technical discussions and innovation milestones, Gastech 2026 showcased how MODEC combines decades of offshore experience with technology to drive the industry forward. At MODEC, developing early-career engineering talent is an important part of building our future capabilities. This month, we celebrated the graduation of the Associate Engineers from the 2024 Associate Engineer Program (Singapore), marking the completion of their two-year development journey from August 2024 to July 2026. Throughout the program, the nine Associate Engineers gained exposure to structured learning, hands-on experience, and cross-functional collaboration across MODEC’s global operations. Their journey provided valuable exposure to the full FPSO lifecycle - from design and engineering in Singapore, to shipyard construction in China, and operations and maintenance experience in Brazil. With six women in the cohort, this milestone reflects MODEC’s commitment to creating a more diverse and inclusive workplace. By providing opportunities for people with different backgrounds and perspectives to grow in technical careers, we aim to strengthen female representation in engineering and develop a capable, inclusive pipeline of future talent. Congratulations to our graduates and everyone who supported their journey.
