The initial person was very helpful and…
The initial person was very helpful and polite. After booking and payment was made I then got a call from another person asking if we wanted to book our seats, as its not guaranteed we will sit together. He was asking for £140 each. That really put a damper on our, otherwise, happy moment.

Avoid
Avoid, avoid, avoid. Pay a little extra and book directly with airlines. Not a problem if your flights go as planned but if any cancellations they will not refund. Now waiting almost 5 months for money and have had to do chargeback throughmy bank. Customer care - don't care. I made the mistake of looking at Trust Pilot for reviews. Must be fixed. Look anywhere else and the reviews are awful. So regret using this company.

We appreciate that waiting for a refund can be frustrating. However, the refund in your case has not been delayed by Flightcatchers. The delay is due to the operating airline's refund processing, which has been significantly impacted by the exceptional backlog following the disruption in the Middle East. As an intermediary, Flightcatchers can only remit refunds once they have been authorised and received from the airline.
As the delay arises from the operating airline's refund processing rather than any action or inaction by Flightcatchers, initiating a chargeback against the travel agent may not assist in expediting the airline's refund process. Chargeback proceedings are managed independently by the card issuer and the merchant's acquiring bank and may affect the normal handling of the refund whilst the dispute remains ongoing.
We remain available to resolve this matter amicably and kindly invite you to contact our Customer Care Team at customercare@flightcatchers.com with your Flightcatchers booking reference so that we can review your case and provide you with a further update.

Booked a flight in my name instead of…
Booked a flight in my name instead of my daughter’s and ended up with two tickets in my name. I called them for a complete name change and they sent me an email immediately advising me to cancel and they would issue a refund. The agent asked me to write go ahead without reading and I did only to quickly glance through and see that they would refund only £150 to £240 out of £1290 and I immediately asked that he didn’t cancel any flights. The agent kept saying that the airline would cancel both tickets due to two name booking but I insisted that he didn’t cancel still. I was followed up with constant calls despite asking that he didn’t call me and emails. This put my back up and I refused to engage this agency. I started calling around only for the airline to charge me £250 and changed my ticket.
