Return policy is non existent. Never recieved my projector. Was told to go through insurance and still never received a refund or projector.

I come from an era in which data/video projectors are large, loud, expensive, and annoying.

This thing is *tiny*. It cleverly makes use of "stiff" hinges to permit pointing it in any direction. It worked within seconds of me upacking it. I didn't appreciate this but it has a battery which is enough for about 90-120 minutes depending upon the brightness --- the only connection needed is HDMI.

It's pretty decadent to go tent camping and then watch a movie that you've downloaded on your phone, but imagine doing that with a big screen --- say, the ceiling of your tent.

I can even use this as a secondary monitor for my desktop computer. Except that I can't because I got it as a birthday present for my girlfriend, and she loves it and won't let me use it.

At any rate, this thing is making me re-evaluate the logistics and expense of a Big TV. It costs 1/4 as much as the 72" diagonal TV it'll replace.

Great customer service, really cool little device

What impressed me most about the Aurzen D1R Cube is not simply that it can produce a large picture - it is how easy it makes the entire experience. Many affordable projectors require a separate streaming stick, another power cable, multiple remotes, and repeated setup before you can watch anything. The D1R Cube has Roku TV built directly into the projector, so I can turn it on, select the service I want, and begin watching without building a complicated entertainment system around it. The interface is familiar and straightforward, and the native 1080p picture looks clear, colorful, and genuinely impressive in a dark room. Automatic focus and screen alignment also make it convenient to reposition, while Bluetooth, HDMI, and the Roku mobile app provide several ways to connect and control it.

The D1R Cube is especially easy to recommend to someone who wants an affordable big screen experience without committing space and money to a large television. It is compact enough for a bedroom, apartment, dorm room, or occasional backyard movie night, yet it can transform an ordinary wall into a much more immersive viewing area. The built in speakers are perfectly usable for casual watching, and external headphones, Bluetooth speakers, or a soundbar can be added when stronger audio is desired.

The important expectation is that this is designed primarily for evening and dark-room entertainment. It will not compete with a bright television in direct sunlight, and serious competitive gamers should choose something with lower input delay. However, for movies, television, sports, YouTube, family gatherings, and relaxed gaming in a controlled room, it offers an unusually complete and convenient package. For someone who values simplicity, portability, and a large screen more than maximum daytime brightness, the Aurzen D1R Cube is an excellent entry into home projection and one of the easiest budget projectors to actually use regularly.

My product arrived quickly, it was easy to set up and works wonderfully!

Love the compact size and portability! I purchased the zip projector primarily to project my sewing patterns and eliminate printing and cutting paper patterns. The only reason I have it 4⭐️ is because of the battery life. I was under the impression the projector could be used with a charger or plugged into an outlet with the cable. Unfortunately I’ve been unsuccessful with that.

Quality of product is great.

I tried the Zip projector for sewing pattern projection, and found the experience to be less than satisfying. To me it seemed very fiddly, and difficult to remain in focus and calibration fluctuated. I did send a couple of photos to customer service, and was advised on the return policy - which includes paying for return shipment. No tips to try were included in the CS response.

I am experiencing an issue with the auto correction feature. The projector repeatedly displays a message indicating that the auto correction has failed, and the feature does not appear to be working properly. The Bluetooth modular component is not working.

It’s very loud and it actually wouldn’t start up correctly once because the fans wouldn’t run inside it

I purchased the Aurzen BOOM 3 projector in November 2025 and had problems almost immediately. The remote control stopped working a few days later, and I thought it was an issue with the batteries. So I replaced the batteries with brand new ones and 5 days later, it stopped working. I replaced it with new batteries, it didn’t work. I put the old ones back in and it sorta worked. The remote control works only when it wants to. You can not rely on it to rewind, pause, turn up the volume, etc.

In addition, the power button on both the unit and the remote would randomly stop responding, forcing me to unplug it to shut it off. I emailed support in January and they said it was a known glitch and they were working on a solution, but they offered no real solution other than to unplug the unit when it wouldn’t turn off.

I also purchased a Fire Stick based on Aurzen's advertised compatibility, only to be told through a customer service agent on their website chat that it "should" work and to just return it and buy a Roku instead. No actual help.

By April, the image had visible internal dirt and a spreading smudge — clearly internal hardware defects. They told me to remove the top of the unit and clean it. This unit is completely sealed and it is impossible to remove the top. When I said the cover wouldn't come off, they told me to use "a bit of force" and when I told them that won’t work because it is completely sealed shut, they told me to ask a friend or family member for help. I don’t have a friend or family member who lives near me. Plus, this product was under warranty.

When I sent photos showing that a large, gray curved line was now appearing in the images from the projector, they told me the BOOM 3 was discontinued and that they could not fix it or replace it. They said that since the product had been used for sometime, they could only offer a 60% refund due to "depreciation" — for a defective product that failed through no fault of my own, still within its 24-month warranty.

If you look at the reviews on Amazon of most Aurzen products, you’ll see that users initially love them BUT there’s always some type of issue that Aurzen refuses to fix. This company does not honor their warranties and does not offer actual technical support or service.

Save yourself the headache and buy from a company that actually stands behind their products.

Perfect Autofocus, brillant picture, Trapez correction, bit noisy

So far extremely happy with delivery time, product and its features it really has everything dialed in! It is a fantastic buy for the budget I had and it really is top notch quality. Now we see how long it lasts but I like the 2 year warranty.

The projector works well, but it wasn't well noted that you can't download most streaming apps, which is really annoying. I can't download HBO, Peacock, Paramount, YouTube TV (which is double dumb cause you get YouTube). The image quality is great, which is why I still gave it 4 stars, however the auto-focus rarely works, but it's not difficult to do manually. Highly adjustable for screen placement.

Jeg købte en Boom Air for et halvt år siden. Yderst tilfreds med projektoren.
Så stoppede fokus pludselig med at virke - Både auto og manuelt.
Jeg kontaktede kundeservice.
Hurtig høflig respons. De bad om en video, så de kunne lokalisere problemet. Det sendte jeg - De så videoen og sendte en ny projektor uden at jeg skulle sende den gamle retur eller de stillede yderligere spørgsmål.
Sikke en lettelse... Jeg troede jeg skulle bøvle med en retur pakke til et værksted i udlandet og vente mange uger på et svar... Men de kunne med det samme se problemet, beklagede og sendte en ny... Der er virkelig kundeservice i topklasse.

Særligt Amy fra kundeservice var en fornøjelse at skrive med 🤗
