Ho noleggiato un'auto all'aeroporto di Lisbona il giorno 6 Agosto 2026 tramite CRC - Carjet. Al momento del ritiro ho presentato la mia carta di credito che riporta il mio nome e sulla seconda linea il nome della mia Azienda. L'impiegato mi ha detto che non potevano accettarla perchè oltre al mio nome c'era anche il nome dell'Azienda. Quando ho chiesto spiegazioni mi è stato risposto che questa è la politica di CRC. A nulla è servito insistere a lungo sostenendo che come da contratto la mia carta di credito riportava il mio nome (che è la condizione richiesta per il noleggio). L'addetto è stato irremovibile. Non avendo io carte di credito personali ho dovuto sottoscrivere la polizza full Kasko, sostenendo per il noleggio di un giorno un costo 3 volte superiore a quello inizialmente pattuito (97,92 euro invece di 32,07 euro). L'addetto non ha saputo mostrarmi la parte del contratto ove si specifica che la carta di credito deve riportare solo il nome di chi noleggia e non anche il nome dell'Azienda. Mi chiedo: CRC noleggia solo a privati e non a persone che viaggiano per lavoro? Io ho avuto la sensazione che CRC – Carjet volesse cercare di ottenere più soldi, non rispettando il contratto iniziale. Ovviamente per me è stata la prima e l’ultima volta che ho noleggiato con CRC, e vedendo il 36% di recensioni ad una stella con le relative motivazioni, sono certo di non essere il solo a pensare che questo sia il modus operandi scorretto della compagnia.

Aluguei um carro por 3 semanas em Portugal com esta empresa. Quando fiz a reserva informei que NAO iria contratar o seguro da locadora (pois poderia contar - de forma GRATUITA com o seguro do meu cartão de credito internacional!). Na hora da retirada do veículo a mesma pergunta foi refeita e a resposta permaneceu a mesma.
Semanas depois percebo pela fatura do meu cartão que o seguro (no valor de 525,00€, + taxas) foi cobrado!

Entrei em contato com a empresa que me explicou o seguinte: o cartão que eu apresentei para efetuar o pagamento caução (aquele que é integralmente devolvido, caso não haja nenhuma intercorrência) não estava com limite suficiente liberado. Por isso, SEM EXPLICAR O QUE ESTAVAM FAZENDO E SEM A MINHA ANUENCIA (tenho mais de um cartão internacional e/ou poderia ter alterado instantaneamente o limite do meu cartão), aplicaram o caminho alternativo do qual a empresa dispõe: ao invés de pré aprovar 2.800,00€ de caução, pré aprovaram somente 300,00€ e COBRARAM DE FORMA DEFINITIVA o valor do seguro.

Diante desta explicação, troquei várias mensagens muito cordiais com uma funcionária da empresa solicitando o reembolso do valor cobrado de forma indevida, mas a empresa seguiu alegando que a "regra" foi aplicada, e que não pode fazer nada a não ser me oferecer um voucher de desconto (o que chega a ser um insulto) - e hoje notificou que o meu caso consta como encerrado, ou seja, não há mais canais de comunicação!

Gostaria muito de entender se uma regra com esse tipo de impacto financeiro poderia ter sido aplicada sem ter sido EXPLICADA pois do lado de cá, sigo com um enorme sentimento de má fé da empresa e de impotência como cliente.

At the counter I was charged an additional £350 because they said my credit card I used to pay for the booking had initials and last name and needed to be my first and last name. In the t&c’s it just says must bring credit card in your name this is completely ambiguous. I logged into my credit card account on my phone to show him that card number was for my account proving full name and address but he was only interested in charging me additional funds and wouldn’t look at it. I could hear the guy next to me being taken for a similar amount for a different reason. Avoid at all costs!!.

We were disappointed with our experience because the information on the CRC website did not clearly state that we were required to have a credit card with a certain minimum validity period. Our credit card was still valid for approximately one and a half months, but unfortunately, it was not accepted by the company. As a result, we were required to pay an €848,75 deposit using our debit card.
At the time, we understood that this €848,75 was a deposit and that the full amount would be returned after we returned the car, provided there were no additional charges or damages. We returned the car as required, but the €848,75 has still not been refunded.
At the return desk, we were told that we needed to contact the Help Desk by email regarding the refund. We followed those instructions and contacted the Help Desk, but so far we have received no response and no refund.
This situation is very frustrating, especially because €848,75 is a significant amount of money for us. We would therefore appreciate it if you could process the full €848,75 refund immediately and confirm when the money will be returned to our account.

I booked a car rental via Doyouspain, which was with CRC Rental.
Booking: 4-5 seater, 3 weeks, €623.50.
Scheduled pickup: 11 July at 19:30, Lisbon Airport. Flight number SN3819 was provided so you could track delays.

Our flight was delayed by 3 hours and we landed in Lisbon at 22:00. I informed you via WhatsApp that we would arrive later than the scheduled pickup time.

We arrived at the CRC desk at 23:00. The office was technically closed, but staff were still there. They told me the car had already been released and was "gone."

The only solution offered was to book a similar car at double the price. I find this unacceptable and misleading, especially since I had communicated the delay in advance.

I have requested several times by WhatsApp and email a written statement/proof of what happened so I can file a claim with the airport/airline. To date I have received nothing.

The only positive experience was with Mr. Jason at car return. He was professional and helpful.

Absolute idiots… I could not rent a car because on my creditcard there are only my initials plus family name instead of full surnames !!!! Can you imagine ? This was only for the deposit / payment would have been done via booking.com. I offered to pay the deposit in cash or transfer it via bankaccoint but “ the computes said : NO” … so I would have been able to approve the transfer via credit card because I have the pincode but it could have been somebody else’s card who has the same family name and initials

Jason nous a accueilli avec gentillesse et bienveillance. Son œil vif et juste mais pas arnaqueur face au client nous a permis de conclure le contrat dans les meilleures conditions.
