Nous avons été bien accueilli par l'agence qui nous a bien conseillé. Les agents sont aimables et consilient. Je recommande vivement. Ceci nous a permis d'avoir eu un très bon séjour. Privilégier une petite voiture assez puissante et boîte automatique pour circuler à Madère.

Haben die DDMV 100PS Klasse gemietet (sehr empfehlenswert).
Service war 10/10, der Mitarbeiter aus Funchal war mega korrekt & kooperativ.
Du kriegst hier genau das was du auch bezahlst (wenn nicht sogar mehr).
Keiner schwatzt dir irgendeine Zusatzversicherung oder sonst andere Kosten auf.
Unkomplizierte Buchung & Abholung.
Gutes Auto, CarPlay und Klimaanlage vorhanden.
Können RentX wirklich jedem empfehlen. Nehmt das bisschen mehr Geld in die Hand, auf Madeira lohnt es sich wirklich sehr!
Auch die Voll-Versicherung lohnt sich meiner Meinung nach. Die Straßen sind manchmal sehr schmal. Auch wenn wir keinen Unfall o.ä. hatten, hat man durch die Versicherung einen entspannteren Urlaub und weniger Kopfschmerzen wenn es doch mal enger wird.
Insgesamt super Erfahrung!

First time renting a car so was slightly apprehensive. Took out full insurance with RentX and found the service to surpass expectations. Pick-up and drop off was quick and easy, with the company easily contactable and happy to accommodate slight changes in timings. The car was clean and any existing damage was documented clearly and explained beforehand. Would absolutely rent from RentX again.

Nice reception, but wondered a bit when we were asked to film a more or less brand new car. Turned out that the person was actually trying to help us. At return they were hostile and tried to claim a minor scratch on us that we hapily had on camera when arrived.

The staff, especially the woman who handled our check-in and check-out—Helena if I'm not mistaken—was helpful, clear and friendly. They mentioned options, but didn't push selling anything extra, even though I didn't purchase their full insurance. I rented two cars: a brand-new Mercedes 7-seater and a second Citroen C3, which was scratched and somewhat worn, but all the damage was listed in the contract, with no attempts to hide or manipulate it. Everything was quick and straightforward, with no hidden agendas. The staff picked us up at the airport and drove us to the office, which is about 10 minutes away, and at the end of our trip, they also took us back to the airport for free. Perfect service, thanks.

Je souhaite vous faire part de mon mécontentement concernant ma récente location de véhicule auprès de votre société.
Lors de ma réservation, j’ai souscrit une assurance complète via DiscoverCars afin d’être couvert en cas d’incident. À mon arrivée pour la prise en charge du véhicule, il m’a pourtant été fortement suggéré de souscrire à nouveau une assurance complémentaire (omnium) directement auprès de votre agence. Cette situation est particulièrement désagréable, car elle donne l’impression que l’assurance déjà souscrite n’est pas reconnue ou qu’une pression commerciale est exercée sur le client.
Par ailleurs, j’ai été informé qu’un supplément de 40 € me serait facturé pour restituer le véhicule à 7h30 au lieu de 8h00. Je trouve ce montant totalement disproportionné au regard de la différence de seulement 30 minutes. Cette facturation me semble excessive et difficilement justifiable.
Ces pratiques nuisent fortement à l’expérience client et ne correspondent pas à ce que j’attends d’un service de location professionnel et transparent.

Great service from the team. There was no pressure to purchase extra insurance (which often happens in other places unfortunately). They provide a convenient shuttle van that collects you from the airport and takes you to the nearby car collection point. The staff were excellent—friendly, English-speaking, and clear in explaining the process. The car itself was in very good condition. I’d definitely recommend them if you’re visiting Madeira.

Nous avons loué un véhicule pour deux adultes et deux enfants le temps d'une semaine à Madeire.
Véhicule en très bon état, neuf, propre, avec le plein. Le responsable de l'agence à Funchal a amené le véhicule devant les bagages et vous laisse le temps de vous préparer. Tout est bien expliqué. Le responsable est joignable par whatsapp sans aucun problème. Communication excellente.
Nous avons redéposé le véhicule à 7h à l'agence de Machico près de l'aéroport. Comme prévu, un chauffeur (très sympathique) nous a amené à l'aéroport.
Agence très professionnelle, nous la recommandons.

10/10 service from start to finish. As soon as we arrived at the airport, we were greeted by the loveliest shuttle bus driver who was so welcoming and accommodating, which set a great first impression.

At the office, everything was handled quickly and efficiently. The car itself was excellent, and we really appreciated how thorough they were with documenting its condition. We were given a detailed list of all existing marks and scratches, making it easy to check the vehicle on collection and giving us complete peace of mind.

When returning the car, the process was just as smooth. We were actually running slightly late for our flight, and the gentleman who assisted us kindly took us straight to the airport so we didn’t have to wait for the shuttle which was such a thoughtful touch.

We’ll definitely be returning to Madeira soon and will 100% be using RentX again!

A l arrivée un représentant à disposition vous explique très bien la prise en main. Très simple et rapide. La voiture était très propre adaptée à l ile ( pentes etc.)

Excellent experience! I rented a car for 5 days, pick up from the airport and drop off at the hotel. The people were very friendly, the price was excellent, and the car was exactly what I needed (Citroen C3 Aircross). I highly recommend the company!
