Do yourself a favor, just don’t. I went with Lettuce to save me time and money and all I got was a financial and paperwork disaster that is going to end up costing me more than they would have saved me to fix. Customer service is nonexistent. It’s a great platform in concept, but they failed at execution.

I've used Lettuce for the last 6 months. I started when I decided to transition from and overstressed solo proprietor juggling too many pieces on my own to an LLC/S-Corp and they made the process seamless and well supported. The tools available are useful and provide the necessary information to effectively run my practice from a single place- with the confidence that my taxes and accounting are being managed on an ongoing basis. When I've needed Customer Support it has been timely and thorough. I am excited that they continue to expand offerings and look forward to the day when health benefits are offered in my state. (Currently they are only available for people living in certain states -which would be helpful to communicate more effectively- as I waited on the waitlist until it was available to be told that I was ineligible).

I never would have set up an LLC S Corp on my own. Lettuce handles all of it: legal, accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, quarterly taxes, year-end 1120S and K-1. Turnkey, end to end.

The tax savings alone more than cover the cost - and then some!

The ads on instagram are not the experience I had. Long wait times, horrible customer service, errors on their system regarding healthcare enrollment which lead to months of being uncovered even though it said I was enrolled.

From their support team "There was an error that allowed enrollment even though you did not have funds in your Lettuce bank account to submit the premium deposit equal two months of premium, this should not be able to happen and our team fixed that issue. Just to reiterate, you are not enrolled yet."

"Regarding the June start date, we cannot do that....There is no flexibility there, sorry"

There is a connected bank account with plenty of money in it.

Great account setup, but very poor expectation setting. Nothing tells you when you’ll get paid or how much. Turns out it’s once a month and it figures salary amount out on the fly. Doesn’t sound like “salary” at all!

The 40% of income set aside by default for salary and taxes is by no means sufficient to cover a “reasonable salary” for my line of work, so although I got that switched early on, I’m still swimming upstream against the system. Come to find out mid-year that it also has a cap of $100k on overall salary, which also is a huge problem for me.

In concept Lettuce is a wonderful tool for solopreneurs. As envisioned it should simplify almost all business and financial aspects of your operation to allow focus on what matters most - your clients, your services, your products. Unfortunately, the concept outpaces the delivery and execution.

With almost exclusive reliance on AI for most tasks, the number of errors is astounding. I spend an inordinate amount of time ensuring that the program accurately identified a check, direct deposit, etc. for posting. The invoicing system cannot be much worse without it tipping into the territory of unusable. Reconciling invoices with actual deposits is a task for the brave (with time on their hands).

Problematic issues have been communicated through the customer service support feature. At times, responses have been timely and on-point. At other times, weeks go by before a response (and even then it occurs only after I send a reminder email).

As this is my first year with Lettuce I entrusted them to manage the S Corp conversion. It was not until this tax season that I discovered that they filed paperwork at the federal level but failed to do so at the state level. This prompted penalties at the state level and Lettuce's response has been one of either disinterest or incompetence.

I really want the system that Lettuce promotes to work well for individual business owners like me; unfortunately, the product is not fully baked. It feels as though they may be trying to do too much, too fast (positioning for PE $?). Buyer beware.

Have been a Lettuce.co customer for over a year. I should have known that it wouldn't go well, given it took them so long to set up my new S-corp. However, throughout the year I had problems with their portal, processes, etc. It culminated with them filing a tax filing extension without asking my permission and then filing a different set of tax forms than the ones I could download from their portal. Needless to say, they caused me lots of problems and extra work, as well as some money.

I held off writing this review as long as I could. I have been with Lettuce for over a year and I will say if has been frustrating. Onboarding was horrible with very little support, leaving me to figure things out on my own. The communication at this company is mediocre at best. Emails frequently/mostly go unanswered. I have emails form August 2025 that have never received a reply! Outside of the video chat option for tax purposes only, there is no other means of communication/support. This taxes season has been challenging to say the least. As of today my S corp city taxes have not been completed or even started, mind you it is now 4/16. I mentioned this during my video chats and via several emails (which have not replied to). My personal city taxes would not have been completed if I didn’t mention it multiple times. Now I’m left wondering if I need to go pay someone else to complete them. For what we pay monthly, Lettuce needs to do better.

I appreciate the assistance in transitioning my business into an S-Corp, as well as the platform to see how my income is distributed. I know I'm getting tax savings, so that's a pro. However, since joining, the onboarding process and communication have been clunky and confusing. Their system continues to experience glitches, making me wonder what I can trust. Taxes are actually handled by their partner, Formations, which creates another communication gap and relationship layer that I didn't realize I signed up for. Their Lettuce AI bot is helpful to a point, but overall, if I had to choose now, I'd likely pay more for a service that provides more human support, explanation, and guidance without leaving me guessing or wondering if all the bases are being covered.

The platform and automation are wonderful but when you need to speak with a person, it is very frustrating that there is not a person to contact.

The fact the the app is very simple and accessible and made for my own benefits.

Lettuce just works! Set up my LLC and bank account was seamless. Now my income hits my account and automatically sets aside a proper amount for tax payments so I'm not surprised at the end of the year like I was this year. Sending myself owner distribution payments is such a delightful experience with Lettuce.

I've been using Lettuce for a little over a year. I really like the software. I have been very unhappy with support when I have an issue though. I can't get questions answered promptly, and often a different person will respond to an issue that is partially resolved instead of one person seeing the issue through to resolution. It is deeply frustrating and is making me consider using something else.

I have been using Lettuce for a year and a half and I not only love the software as it makes it so easy for me to manage my invoicing, taxes and more. But I also really love the customer service. Whenever I have a question, the team is super helpful and quick. I recommend Lettuce Financial to everyone.

Took the complexity out of having to figure out accounting and taxes for my business.

Onboarding & migration has been an absolute nightmare. Painfully slow & limited comms. I'm in my 6th week and still not a functional platform. I currently have $50K in funds that have left my old bank and have not posted in my Lettuce accounts, with my original $10K in limbo for 7 banking days now. The bank links work, money left my bank, but Lettuce doesn't show it. I have no access to my funds and have no idea where my money is. Emails go unanswered, no phone support available to call (they use a phone number app if they contact you so it's not their actual number...not sure what that's about). I regret doing choosing Lettuce at this point and have disrupted my business so much that I have to see it through to completion. Lettuce has failed to earn my trust as financial partner in my business, and is proving to be a very poor decision on my part for choosing them. I don't write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience with this one.

Getting setup and fully onboarded has been an extremely slow and a very glitchy process. Started this process on registering my LLC in early February and took them a month to just submit the documents to the state. Support team is EXTREMELY slow at answering compared to any other services I’ve used. Honestly I’d be happier having AI answer me at this point. Now that the company is registered the dashboard software doesn’t even work and isn’t even displaying that I have access to the bank account or anything. I would say there is no way this service is worth $300 a month. At $300 a month you would think this would be a pretty straightforward painless experience.

My experience has been very poor, at best. I waited over four weeks for my business to be incorporated due to repeated back-and-forth regarding the name and structure. I was informed that I needed to form a professional corporation instead of an LLC, but no clear explanation was provided regarding the differences in compliance or what that would mean for me. I proceeded based on the assumption that the process would be similar.

When I finally received my paperwork, the name on the S-corporation election form did not match the name on my official incorporation documents. I notified them immediately, but responses often take several days to a full week. It has now been over a month, and the issue still has not been resolved.

Additionally, my bank account information was changed without my knowledge, which created confusion with the invoices I had already sent out.

Overall, this experience has been extremely frustrating and stressful. I truly wish I had not gone through this process with them. I remain hopeful that things will improve, but at this point, it has been very disappointing.

Update: As of 3/30/26, still no response. I've left emails and voicemails.

They made it easy to do the part that I want to do least. I haven't had to do a thing but pay them - which wasn't cheap - but worth it.
