Bought the belt for the first time and I have to say it is a belter, absolute top-notch quality and the ratchet system is so much better than having a belt with holes. This is my first one and it won't be my last.

I initially bought a black one with the silver buckle as I was hesitant. Loved it. Went back and bought the brown with gunmetal and the fact that buckles are interchangeable is so nice!

In fact, bought another two for friends, and today got some air freshener for my car that genuinely smells nice hence why I’m leaving this review so yeah there’s an incentive to leave this review because I might win a 5th belt for free.

But if you guys pick me, just know I’m a true fan and will always be recommending your belts to friends n family regardless of winning or not (of course a free one would be heavily appreciated) but yeah, SICK BELT.

Very disappointing experience with Minimum Co. I had previously purchased the same belts from them on two occasions, several months apart, and both earlier purchases looked exactly the same when they arrived. I ordered again because I expected the same look as my current belts, and the belts advertised on their website appeared to match those belts. That is exactly why I was so disappointed with this order, because the belts I recently received looked different from the earlier ones and did not match what was advertised on their website. I sent a photo showing the earlier belts side by side with the belts I recently received, and the difference was obvious. Rather than acknowledging that difference, I felt the issue was argued away and I was being made to look wrong. The product photos on their website did not reflect what I received, and I believe that is highly misleading.

After a long back-and-forth by email, and after the matter had already become very stressful, I was offered a prepaid return label and told that once the belts were returned, they would either refund the order in full or exchange them for ones that looked closer to my old belts with a different colour buckle. By that stage, I no longer wanted to continue chasing the issue. This was not how I expected a company like Minimum Co to treat a long-time repeat customer. I chose to keep the belts as received because by that time I was exhausted, disheartened, and simply did not want any more back-and-forth. The response I received throughout was dismissive, impersonal, and, in my opinion, among the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. It left me feeling extremely stressed, deeply disappointed, and appalled by the way the matter was handled.

I will not be purchasing from Minimum Co again, and neither will my family or friends who currently do, as they were as appalled and disappointed as I was when I told them of my experience. I am sharing my experience and leaving this honest review so others can make an informed decision before buying from them.

My buckle failed within what I would describe as a reasonsable timeframe. 3/4 years. I found that the customer service team were reluctant to deal with the issue, requiring that I had to chase them up every few days. J**** the team leader was particularly unhelpfull and appear to have withdawn the previous settlement offer when I raised the issue of Australian consumer protection.
Some of the products are good, but the after sales support is quite poor, and a bit of an embarrasment.

Update and response:
If the issue was the result of a "structural break" as you say, that would suggest a quality issue.

I also just found out, that Minimum is so embarrassed by this issue, that I have blocked me from their Facebook page, to stop my reviews.

The complaint was also about the customer service, as documented below, because it would appear that if I didnt follow up on this, nor would you have.
=> Email sent on 2nd Feb, followed up on 3rd for a reply on 4th.
=> Email sent on 5th Feb, followed up on the 7th for a reply on the 9th.
=> Email sent on the 11th Feb, followed upon the 15th and again on the 18th for a reply on the 19th.

Regarding the quality of the item. I 'had' three functional buckles, all have been used by the same person, the same weight, the same way, and 1 of those three have failed. So considering I have previously have belt buckles last 10 years, and I have some of your buckles lasting longer than 4 years, I feel it is reasonsable to expect that a belt buckle can last longer than 4 years.

I ordered two belts for one of my son's for Christmas; black strap and brown strap. Unfortunately, I received two of the same colour. Minimum & Co were super quick to rectify this.

As it turned out, my other son liked the belts so much he asked his brother if he could borrow one. I ended up orering two more straps so they now have one of each colour.

The quality is top notch, and the service is super! Highly recommend the product, belt straps and the buckle (very impressive mechanism)

Great product. High quality. Versatile. Initially got one belt for myself on sale. Then got one for my daughter, work colleague, husband and son … each one of us now reaches for this belt as our primary belt!

How can I ever go back to wearing a 'normal' belt. These belts are the new 'normal'. No more trying to get the buckle into the right hole which is never in the right spot. Just wrap it around and through the buckle slot and 'bazinga' it's all locked in. So easy to put on and off. The instructions for sizing are super easy, and the belt looks classy and professional. My only issue now is what colour do I get next....

Was looking for Christmas gifts for family members and these belts caught my eye. They looked great with a much better buckle system than traditional style belt buckles. I decided to order 3. They came in lovely presentation boxes, ideal for gifting and the belts will suit different people with different body types

These belts are beautiful and high quality! I bought one for myself and a couple as gifts. I love mine, and my parter now only uses his new belt, which is saying something as he’s a creature of habit, and doesn’t tend to like new things! Now I need to save up to buy more in other colours 😍

Minimum Co belts are fantastic, they are well made and last well. Easy to set up for your right size and look great too.

I got one for my girlfriend for Christmas and she absolutely loved it. It works with pretty much any outfit I see her wearing and she commented on how it’s easy to adjust when she’s bloated. Safe to say I was in her good books 😂 it was also shipped quickly too. Thanks team.

I was looking for a gift for my Dad who is very picky. He usually does not use any of the gifts we give him but I have not seen him go out without this belt since we got it for him. He says it holds up really well and is comfortable unlike other belts that are either too loose or too tight. Wouldd defs recommend !
