  • This disclosure designs a process for establishing a connection between the perceived UE's characteristic information and the UE ID.
  • This process includes the following three steps:
  • the Sensing Function (i.e., the first network element mentioned above) first broadcasts the characteristic information of the UE that needs to be found to many UEs through system messages;
  • the UE After receiving the perceived system message, the UE matches it with its own information to determine whether the network is looking for it;
  • the UE determines that the network is looking for it, it then reports a successful match to the network's Sensing Function.

  • Matching with UEs characteristics means determining whether a UE matches the characteristic information of a certain UE. If a UE matches the information of a certain UE, it means that this UE is the UE that the Sensing Function is looking for.

Detailed Implementation

This disclosure provides embodiments of communication methods and apparatus, communication devices, communication systems, and storage media.

In a first aspect, embodiments of this disclosure provide a communication method, which is executed by a terminal, the method comprising:

接收第一网元发送的第一消息,所述第一消息中包括至少一个第一信息,不同第一信息对应不同被感知对象,所述第一信息用于指示对应的被感知对象的特征;Receive a first message sent by a first network element, the first message including at least one first piece of information, different first pieces of information corresponding to different sensed objects, the first piece of information being used to indicate the characteristics of the corresponding sensed object;

The terminal matches the features indicated by the first information and sends a second message to the first network element. The second message is used to indicate at least one of the following: the terminal successfully matches the first information, the identity information of the terminal, and the first information that the terminal successfully matched.

In the above embodiments, the terminal receives a first message sent by a first network element. The first message includes at least one first piece of information, with different first pieces of information corresponding to different sensed objects (i.e., sensed objects that the first network element needs to sense). The first piece of information is used to indicate the characteristics of the corresponding sensed object. The terminal matches the characteristics indicated by each piece of first information based on its own characteristics. When the terminal matches the characteristics indicated by a certain piece of first information, it indicates that the terminal is a sensed object. At this time, the terminal sends a second message to the first network element. The second message indicates at least one of "the terminal successfully matches the first piece of information, the terminal's identity information, and the first piece of information that the terminal successfully matched". After receiving the second message, the first network element can determine that the terminal is a sensed object that the first network element needs to sense based on the second message. It can also determine the terminal's identity information and the characteristics corresponding to the terminal. The first network element can associate the characteristics of the same sensed object with the corresponding identity information. Thus, the network can perform communication scheduling for the sensed object based on the identity information corresponding to the sensed object according to the content associated by the first network element, ensuring the successful scheduling of the sensed object by the network and improving communication efficiency.

The terminal identifier of the terminal.

In the above embodiments, the specific information of the terminal's identity information is explained so that when the terminal matches the characteristics of the perceived object of the first network element, it can send the terminal's identity information to the first network element. This allows the first network element to associate the characteristics and identity information of the terminal and then perform communication scheduling on the terminal based on the terminal's identity information, ensuring the successful scheduling of the perceived object by the first network element and improving communication efficiency.

所述终端匹配于所述第一信息所指示的终端的特征;The terminal is matched to the characteristics of the terminal indicated by the first information;

The carrier of the terminal is matched with the characteristics of the terminal carrier indicated by the first information.

In the above embodiments, it is explained which objects can be sensed, which features of the sensed object can be indicated by the first information, and how the terminal specifically matches the features indicated by the first information. Thus, when the terminal receives the first information sent by the first network element, it can match its own features based on the features indicated by the first information to determine whether the terminal is a sensed object. This realizes the sensing process of the first network element on the terminal, so that the first network element can successfully sense the terminal.

The second message indicates the first information that the terminal has successfully matched, including at least one of the following:

所述第二消息中包括所述终端所匹配成功的第一信息;The second message includes the first information indicating that the terminal has successfully matched the data;

The second message includes an information identifier corresponding to the first information that the terminal successfully matched.

In the above embodiments, it is explained how the terminal specifically indicates the first information that it has successfully matched to the first network element, so that the first network element can know which sensed object the terminal is. This facilitates the first network element in associating the terminal with its identity information and subsequently scheduling communication with the terminal based on its identity information, ensuring successful scheduling of the sensed object by the first network element and improving communication efficiency. Furthermore, in the above embodiments, different first information may also correspond to information identifiers. The terminal can indicate the first network element that it has successfully matched by sending the information identifier corresponding to the first information it has successfully matched to the first network element, without needing to send the specific content of the first information it has successfully matched, thereby reducing communication overhead and saving communication resources.

In conjunction with some embodiments of the first aspect, in some embodiments, receiving the first message sent by the first network element includes:

Receive the first message broadcast by the first network element.

In the above embodiments, the first network element broadcasts the first message, meaning that multiple terminals receive the first message. These multiple terminals can then match at least one piece of first information in the first message. When a match is successful, the multiple terminals will send a second message to the first network element. Thus, the first network element can perceive multiple terminals and associate the features and identity information of the multiple terminals. Consequently, the first network element can perform communication scheduling for the multiple terminals based on their feature information, thereby improving communication efficiency.

Optionally, sensing function (SF) network elements in the network typically sense the terminal to perceive its characteristic information. Furthermore, in some embodiments, the network often needs to perform communication scheduling on the sensed terminal, for example, by initiating a call to it. Optionally, when scheduling the sensed terminal, the network typically needs to schedule the terminal based on its identity information, which may include, for example, the terminal's phone number.

However, there is currently no method to associate the characteristic information and identity information of the network with the terminal. This would prevent the network from knowing the identity information corresponding to the terminal it perceives, thus preventing the network from scheduling communication with the terminal it perceives and affecting communication efficiency.

Based on this, this disclosure provides a communication method to solve the above-mentioned technical problems.

Figure 2 is an interactive schematic diagram of a communication method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in Figure 2, this embodiment of the disclosure relates to a communication method for a communication system 100, the method comprising:

Step 2101: The first network element sends the first message.

Optionally, the first network element can be used to provide sensing services, for example, the first network element can be a sensing function (SF) network element.

In some embodiments, the first network element may broadcast the first message to at least one terminal. Optionally, the first network element may broadcast the first message to at least one terminal via a next-generation radio access network (NG-RAN), for example... For example, the first network element can broadcast the first message to at least one terminal through an Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF) network element. The first message can be, for example, a system message. Optionally, the terminal can receive the first message sent by the first network element.

Optionally, the first message may include at least one piece of first information, wherein different pieces of first information correspond to different sensed objects. Optionally, the sensed object may be understood, for example, as the sensed object that the first network element needs to sense. Optionally, the first information may be used to indicate the characteristics of the corresponding sensed object.

In some embodiments, the perceived object may include a terminal and/or a terminal carrier, which may be understood, for example, as a person holding the terminal, or a device (such as a vehicle) with the terminal installed.

In some embodiments, the first information may be used to indicate the characteristics of the terminal and/or the characteristics of the terminal carrier.

For example, when the perceived object is a terminal, this first information can be used to indicate at least one of the following:

被感知对象的位置信息,该位置信息用于指示被感知对象的位置;The location information of the perceived object, which is used to indicate the location of the perceived object;

被感知对象的时间戳,该时间戳用于指示被感知对象处于位置信息所指示的位置时的时间;The timestamp of the perceived object, which indicates the time when the perceived object was at the location indicated by the location information;

The speed of the perceived object; this speed may include, for example, the direction of motion and/or the magnitude of the speed.

The physical characteristics of the person carrying the perceived object.

For example, when the perceived object is a terminal carrier, this first information can be used to indicate at least one of the following:

被感知对象携带的终端的位置信息,该位置信息用于指示被感知对象携带的终端的位置;Location information of the terminal carried by the sensed object, which is used to indicate the location of the terminal carried by the sensed object;

被感知对象携带的终端的时间戳,该时间戳用于指示被感知对象携带的终端处于位置信息所指示的位置时的时间;The timestamp of the terminal carried by the sensed object, which is used to indicate the time when the terminal carried by the sensed object was at the location indicated by the location information;

被感知对象携带的终端的运动速度;The speed of motion of the terminal carried by the perceived object;

The physical characteristics of the perceived object.

The aforementioned "location information, timestamp, and movement speed" can be understood as characteristics of the terminal, and the aforementioned "appearance characteristics" can be understood as characteristics of the terminal carrier. Optionally, when the terminal carrier is a person holding the terminal, the aforementioned appearance characteristics can be, for example, height, clothing color, body type, etc.; when the terminal carrier is a device with the terminal installed, the aforementioned appearance characteristics can be, for example, size, shape, color, etc.

Optionally, in some embodiments, the different first pieces of information mentioned above also correspond to different information identifiers, and the information identifiers corresponding to the different first pieces of information are different. For example, the information identifier can be the information number of the different first pieces of information. In some embodiments, the information identifier of the first piece of information can be indicated by the first message mentioned above. That is, the first message can include at least one piece of first information and information identifiers corresponding to different first pieces of information. Alternatively, the information identifier of the first piece of information can be agreed upon by a protocol. For example, the protocol can agree that the information identifier of the first piece of first information in the first message is "number 1", the information identifier of the second piece of first information in the first message is "number 2", and so on. Of course, there can be other implementation methods, and this disclosure does not specifically limit them.

Step 2102: The terminal performs feature matching based on the features indicated by at least one piece of first information.

Optionally, the terminal can be determined by whether its features match the features of the terminal indicated by the first information; and/or, the terminal can be determined by whether the features of the terminal carrier match the features of the terminal indicated by the first information. Optionally, when the features of the terminal match the features of the terminal indicated by the first information, and/or when the features of the terminal carrier match the features of the terminal carrier indicated by the first information, then the terminal is determined to match the features indicated by the first information. For a related description of "terminal features and terminal carrier features" here, please refer to the preceding steps.

For example, suppose the terminal indicated by the first information #1 has the following characteristics: location information is "location A", timestamp is "time B", and movement speed is "speed C"; and suppose the terminal carrier indicated by the first information #1 has the following characteristics: physical characteristics are "height: H cm; clothing color: red; build: strong man". In this case, the terminal can determine whether it is at location A at time B, and whether its movement speed is "speed C". Simultaneously, it can determine whether the person holding the terminal is H cm tall, wears red clothing, and has a strong build.

Optionally, if the terminal determines that it is at position A at time B, and determines that the terminal's movement speed is "speed C", and further determines that the person holding the terminal is H centimeters tall, wearing red clothing, and of a strong build, then the terminal considers that the terminal matches the features indicated by the first information #1. Alternatively, if the terminal determines that it is at position A at time B, and determines that the terminal's movement speed is "speed C", it can be considered that the terminal matches the features indicated by the first information #1. Otherwise, it is considered that the terminal does not match the features indicated by the first information. Of course, there can be other matching determination methods, and this disclosure does not specifically limit them.

Step 2103: The terminal matches the feature indicated by the first information and sends a second message to the first network element.

Optionally, when a terminal matches a feature indicated by a certain first piece of information, it indicates that the terminal or its carrier is a sensed object. In this case, the terminal sends a second message to the first network element. Optionally, the terminal can send the second message to the first network element through NG-RAN, for example, the terminal can send the second message to the first network element through an AMF network element. Optionally, the first network element can receive the second message sent by the terminal.

In some embodiments, the second message may indicate at least one of the following:

The terminal successfully matched the first piece of information.

终端的身份信息;Terminal identity information;

The first piece of information that the terminal successfully matched.

Optionally, in some embodiments, the identity information of the terminal mentioned above may include at least one of the following:

终端的呼叫号码(或称为电话号码);The terminal's calling number (or telephone number);

终端的互联网协议互联网协议(Internet Protocol,IP)地址;The terminal's Internet Protocol (IP) address;

(International Mobile Subscriber Identification Number,IMSI)。The terminal identifier; optionally, the terminal identifier may include, for example, a user equipment identity (UE ID) and/or an International Mobile Subscriber Identification Number (IMSI).

Optionally, in some embodiments, when the second message indicates the first information successfully matched by the terminal, it may include the first information successfully matched by the terminal in the second message, or it may include an information identifier corresponding to the first information successfully matched by the terminal in the second message. When the second message includes the information identifier corresponding to the first information successfully matched by the terminal, the communication resources occupied by the information identifier are generally less, thus reducing communication overhead and saving communication resources.

Step 2104: The first network element associates the terminal's identity information with the first information that the terminal has successfully matched.

Optionally, in some embodiments, the first information successfully matched by the terminal can be used by the first network element to know which specific object the terminal corresponds to. Based on this, the first network element associates the terminal's identity information with the first information successfully matched by the terminal, so that the first network element can associate the object with the identity information corresponding to the object. Thus, the first network element can know the identity information corresponding to its object, and the network can then perform communication scheduling for the object based on the identity information corresponding to the object according to the content associated by the first network element, ensuring the successful scheduling of the object by the network and improving communication efficiency.

Step 2105: The first network element schedules the terminal based on the terminal's identity information.

Optionally, the first network element can perform communication scheduling for the terminal based on the terminal's identity information. For example, the first network element can initiate a call to the terminal based on the terminal's call number and/or terminal identifier.

Optionally, the first network element may also send the association between the terminal's identity information and the first information successfully matched by the terminal to other network elements or other devices in the network, so that other network elements or other devices in the network can schedule the terminal based on the terminal's identity information. Optionally, the other network elements or other devices may be, for example, Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem (IMS), etc., and this disclosure does not specifically limit them.

The first network element can associate the characteristics and identity information of the same sensed object. Thus, the network can perform communication scheduling for the sensed object based on the identity information corresponding to the sensed object according to the content associated by the first network element, ensuring the successful scheduling of the sensed object by the network and improving communication efficiency.

The communication method involved in the embodiments of this disclosure may include at least one of steps 5101 to 5104. For example, step 5101 may be implemented as a separate embodiment, and step 5102 may be implemented as a separate embodiment, but are not limited thereto.

In this implementation or embodiment, unless there is contradiction, each step can be independent, arbitrarily combined or exchanged in order, optional methods or optional examples can be arbitrarily combined, and can be arbitrarily combined with any steps of other implementations or other embodiments.

The following is an exemplary description of the above method.

This disclosure designs a process for establishing a connection between the perceived UE's characteristic information and the UE ID.

This process includes the following three steps:

Sensing Function(即前述的第一网元)首先通过系统消息向很多UE广播需要寻找UE的特征信息;The Sensing Function (i.e., the first network element mentioned above) first broadcasts the characteristic information of the UE that needs to be found to many UEs through system messages;

UE在收到感知的系统消息后和自身的信息进行匹配,以判断网络是否在寻找自己;After receiving the perceived system message, the UE matches it with its own information to determine whether the network is looking for it;

If the UE determines that the network is looking for it, it then reports a successful match to the network's Sensing Function.

Optionally, Figure 5B is an interactive schematic diagram of the communication method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in Figure 5B, the specific process of the present disclosure is as follows:

First, the Sensing Function broadcasts the feature information of all the UEs it wants to find to the UE via NG-RAN. This feature information includes: the UE's location information, the UE's timestamp (the time it was at that location), its movement speed (including size and direction), and [optional] other information (such as the size, shape, color, etc. of the UE, where UE refers to an object with a UE).

UE。Matching with UEs’ characteristics means determining whether a UE matches the characteristic information of a certain UE. If a UE matches the information of a certain UE, it means that this UE is the UE that the Sensing Function is looking for.

UE。Subsequently, in the Feedback to Sensing Function message, the UE sends a matching success signaling message to the Sensing Function. This signaling message includes: the UE's own information (such as the UE's phone number, IP address, UE identifier such as IMSI) and the match with Broadcast UEs's... The UE information corresponding to the characteristics, such as UE feature information or UE number information, can uniquely identify a UE.

In this disclosure, when a UE receives a system message and determines that the network is looking for it, it initiates a registration process with the network's Sensing Function. This process is used to establish a connection between the perceived UE's characteristic information and UE ID.

This disclosure also provides an apparatus for implementing any of the above methods. For example, an apparatus is provided that includes units or modules for implementing the steps performed by the terminal in any of the above methods. Alternatively, another apparatus is provided that includes units or modules for implementing the steps performed by a network device (e.g., an access network device, a core network functional node, a core network device, etc.) in any of the above methods.

It should be understood that the division of units or modules in the above device is only a logical functional division. In actual implementation, they can be fully or partially integrated into a single physical entity, or they can be physically separated. Furthermore, the units or modules in the device can be implemented by a processor calling software: for example, the device includes a processor connected to a memory containing instructions. The processor calls the instructions stored in the memory to implement any of the above methods or to implement the functions of the units or modules in the above device. The processor can be, for example, a general-purpose processor, such as a Central Processing Unit (CPU) or a microprocessor, and the memory can be internal or external to the device. Alternatively, the units or modules in the device can be implemented in the form of hardware circuits. The functionality of some or all of the units or modules can be achieved through the design of these hardware circuits, which can be understood as one or more processors. For example, in one implementation, the hardware circuit is an application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC). The functionality of some or all of the units or modules is achieved through the design of the logical relationships between the components within the circuit. In another implementation, the hardware circuit can be implemented using a programmable logic device (PLD). Taking a field-programmable gate array (FPGA) as an example, it can include a large number of logic gates. The connection relationships between the logic gates are configured through configuration files, thereby achieving the functionality of some or all of the units or modules. All units or modules of the above device can be implemented entirely through processor-called software, entirely through hardware circuits, or partially through processor-called software with the remaining parts implemented through hardware circuits.

In this embodiment, the processor is a circuit with signal processing capabilities. In one implementation, the processor can be a circuit with instruction read and execute capabilities, such as a Central Processing Unit (CPU), a microprocessor, a graphics processing unit (GPU) (which can be understood as a microprocessor), or a digital signal processor (DSP). In another implementation, the processor can implement certain functions through the logical relationships of hardware circuits. The logical relationships of the aforementioned hardware circuits are fixed or reconfigurable. For example, the processor is a hardware circuit implemented using an application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) or a programmable logic device (PLD), such as an FPGA. In a reconfigurable hardware circuit, the process of the processor loading a configuration document and configuring the hardware circuit can be understood as the process of the processor loading instructions to implement the functions of some or all of the above units or modules. In addition, it can also be hardware circuits designed for artificial intelligence, which can be understood as ASICs, such as Neural Network Processing Unit (NPU), Tensor Processing Unit (TPU), Deep Learning Processing Unit (DPU), etc.
