La presente invención se refiere a un simulador de atonía uterina que proporciona un dispositivo de uso en la formación sanitaria, y que destaca por su carácter reutilizable y económico, el cual proporciona un medio eficaz para el entrenamiento con flujo activo de hasta tres técnicas distintas ginecológicas, a saber: la colocación de un balón intrauterino, la realización de suturas hemostáticas en el espesor uterino y la posibilidad de realizar ligaduras sobre los vasos sanguíneos. ANTECEDENTES DE LA INVENCIÓN BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
En los últimos años el uso de la simulación como herramienta de aprendizaje en el ámbito de la Medicina está ocupando un lugar destacado de forma creciente. Así, la simulación permite entrenar técnicas en un entorno seguro y parecido al real, mejorando con ello las habilidades de los profesionales y los resultados en la práctica clínica. En el campo de la obstetricia son varias las situaciones de emergencia que, aunque son poco frecuentes, requieren de un manejo óptimo y diligente para su correcta resolución. En este sentido, la hemorragia posparto (también conocida por sus siglas HPP) es una emergencia obstétrica en la que se produce un sangrado excesivo después del parto, siendo una situación poco frecuente, pero que según la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS) representa una de las principales causas de mortalidad materna a nivel mundial. Por ello, resulta clave disponer de modelos de simulación que permitan el entrenamiento de técnicas para la resolución del sangrado uterino posparto. Este entrenamiento, basado en la repetición en un medio seguro, permite el aprendizaje de habilidades técnicas para poder realizarlas con el mayor éxito posible en una situación de emergencia. Además, debido a la baja incidencia de hemorragias posparto, se hace aún más necesario que los obstetras realicen prácticas periódicas a modo de formación continua, así como que los médicos en formación las aprendan en simuladores para llegar preparados a afrontar una situación real. En este sentido, la Sociedad Española de Ginecología y Obstetricia (SEGO) recomienda la simulación periódica de situaciones obstétricas poco frecuentes, pero con gran impacto en la morbimortalidad materno fetal, como es la hemorragia posparto.
