L'invention concerne un dispositif (1) pour produire un produit en forme de tige ou tubulaire, en particulier une paille ou un filtre à cigarette, le dispositif comprenant : - un premier dispositif de transport (4), au moyen duquel une bande de matériau de base (6) peut être transportée dans la direction longitudinale (7), - un premier dispositif d'application de colle (25) pour appliquer au moins une ligne de colle (8, 27, 28) à la bande de matériau de base (6), - un deuxième dispositif de transport (5), au moyen duquel un matériau supplémentaire (10) peut être acheminé jusqu'à un dispositif d'assemblage (11), le dispositif d'assemblage (11) étant conçu pour assembler la bande de matériau de base (6) et le matériau supplémentaire (10), et - un dispositif de coupe (12), qui est conçu pour adapter la longueur du matériau supplémentaire (10) collé à la bande de matériau de base (6) au moyen d'une découpe au niveau d'un point de coupe (13), le premier dispositif d'application de colle (25) étant conçu pour appliquer la ou les lignes de colle (8, 27, 28) à la bande de matériau de base (6) avec des interruptions dans la direction longitudinale (7) de sorte que des zones exemptes de colle (14) sont créées, le premier dispositif d'application de colle (25) étant synchronisé avec le dispositif de coupe (12) de telle sorte que la découpe est réalisée à travers l'une des zones exemptes de colle (14).
