Abstract

La présente invention concerne un cathéter de guidage renforcé qui comprend un premier canal de travail ou lumière (1) qui comporte adossé sur sa paroi externe un second canal de travail ou lumière (2), lequel second canal de travail ou lumière (2) présente une lumière libre suffisante pour laisser passer un guide de support de haut niveau de soutien qui permet au guide (3) de sortir et de se loger dans une autre artère différente de celle dans laquelle est logé le premier guide ou lumière (3) , le second canal de travail ou lumière (2) disposant d'un système d'irrigation indépendant du premier canal de travail ou lumière (1). Cette seconde lumière pourvue d'un guide de support de haut niveau de soutien confère au cathéter de guidage une stabilité et une rigidité sur son trajet par l'aorte et les troncs supra-aortiques, évitant au système de "s'effondrer" dans des anatomies tortueuses ou difficiles, surtout lorsqu'il s'agit de pathologies intracrâniennes avec différents matériels tels que des "stents", des "bobines", des occluseurs, des "stents récupérables", etc.
