Definitions
- the present invention relates to a light control body and a light control window glass that can prevent a decrease in light control performance even when used for a long period of time in an environment where a strong light beam strikes.
- Patent Document 1 describes a light control body composed of a laminate in which a liquid crystal material is disposed on at least one light-transmitting substrate.
- the light transmittance and light reflectance of a specific wavelength in sunlight can be freely controlled by utilizing the property of a liquid crystalline material whose light transmittance varies with temperature.
- electrochromic properties, thermoelectric properties, and the like that can arbitrarily and easily control the light transmittance in any wavelength region in a sufficiently wide wavelength region from the visible light region to the near infrared region by stimuli such as voltage and temperature.
- Various dimmers that can exhibit chromic properties and the like have been proposed.
- the dimmer that can control the transmittance of light in a specific wavelength region is used for the purpose of adjusting transmitted light by blocking light of a specific wavelength, and adjusting the color tone, For example, it is used in various fields such as indoor members, building members, and electronic parts.
- materials that can control the light transmittance in the infrared region have attracted attention, and various studies have been conducted.
- the light control body is used for a long time in an environment where strong light rays such as outdoors are exposed, there is a problem that the light control performance may be deteriorated or the light control body itself may be whitened. .
- measures such as shielding ultraviolet rays have been taken, but a sufficient effect has not been obtained.
- An object of this invention is to provide the light control body and light control window glass which can prevent the fall of light control performance even if it uses it for a long period of time in the environment where a strong light ray hits in view of the said present condition.
- the present invention is a light control body having a light control layer and a visible light absorption layer having a visible light transmittance Tv of 50% or less at a wavelength of 380 to 780 nm.
- Tv visible light transmittance
- the inventors of the present invention have examined the cause of the dimming performance of the dimmer being deteriorated when used for a long time in an environment where a strong light beam strikes. As a result, it has been found that not only ultraviolet rays that have been considered as a cause in the past but also visible light causes deterioration of the dimmer. As a result of further intensive studies, a visible light absorption layer having a visible light transmittance Tv of 50% or less at a wavelength of 380 to 780 nm is combined with the dimming layer, so that the light control layer can be used for a long period of time in an environment where it is exposed to strong light. In addition, the present inventors have found that it is possible to provide a light control body capable of preventing a decrease in light control performance.

Abstract
