Abstract
Device for inducing a composite motion comprises a motion screw (1) provided on the same portion with a pair of opposing helices (2, 3), of which one helix (2) is designed to guide one nut (4) and the other helix (3) to guide the other nut (5).
Description
Device for inducing a composite
Field of invention
The technical solution relates to a device for inducing a composite motion. Background art
In mechanical engineering, in some cases composite motion in the direction of the x- and y-axes is required. Examples are programmable automatic flat or shoulder sewing machines. Their drive, i.e. in the direction of the x and y axes, is accomplished with a device comprising a motion screw provided with a thread and a longitudinal groove. The motion screw is provided with two nuts and ball bearings, one of which nuts is in engagement with the longitudinal groove and the second nut with the helix of the motion screw. Both nuts are driven by electric motors by means of belts and belt pulleys to induce the resultant motion by means of beads, as is in more detail described, for example, in the utility model No. CZ 27230. Another exemplary embodiment used in mechanical engineering is disclosed, for example, in US 8418573 or JP 2007155037.
Disclosure of the technical solution
The object of the technical solution is to simplify the construction and manufacture of the device for inducing a composite motion.
This is achieved to a considerable extent by a device for inducing a composite motion according to the technical solution, the essence of which consists, in particular, in that it comprises a motion screw provided on the same portion with a pair of opposing helices, of which: one helix is designed to guide one nut and the other helix to guide the other nut.
In terms of use it is advantageous for the helices to have the same lead.
If desired, it is advantageous to use different helix leads to achieve a composite motion of the motion screw, i.e., rotational motion and sliding motion.
Clarification of drawings
The technical solution will now be described with reference to the drawings, in which
FIG. 1 is an axonometric view of the device for inducing ί
motion screw with a pair of axially disposed driven nuts and FIG. 2 is a view of the arrangement of the lead of the nuts of the motion screw in FIG. 1.
Examples of implementing a technical solution
The device for inducing a composite motion according to FIG. 1 comprises a motion screw 1 which is provided on the same portion with a pair of helixes 2, 3 whose arrangement is shown in FIG. 2. One helix 2 has a right lead of the thread 6 and the second helix 3 has a left lead of the thread 7. The nuts 4, 5 are mounted on the motion screw i so that one nut 4 is mounted to and engages into the helix 2 with a right lead of the thread 6 and the second nut 5 is mounted to and engages into the helix 3 with a left lead of the thread 7. The lead of thread 6, 7 may be the same, but if necessary, the leads of the threads may be different.
The nuts 4, 5 are, for example or otherwise suitably, anchored via bearing flanges 10, li to a machine not shown and driven across guiding surfaces_8, 9 by means of belt pulleys not shown using a drive motor. The construction of the nuts 4, 5 is knowri and therefore it is not described in more detail.
The function of the device for inducing a composite motion is such that by rotating both nuts 4, 5 consistently, i.e. together in the same sense, the motion screw 1 performs only a rotary motion. By turning both nuts 4, 5 at the same rotational speed but each in the opposite sense, assurning the same lead of threads 6, 7 of the helix 2, 3 , the motion screw 1 moves only slidingly.
By combining the speed and the sense of rotation of the nuts 4, 5, regardless of the lead of the threads 6, 7 of the screws 2, 3, a composite motion of the motion screw 1 is achieved, i.e. both rotational motion and sliding motion at the same time.
Industrial applicability
The technical solution is intended especially for programmable automatic sewing machines with x- and y-axis flat sewing, as well as for spatial sewing with a combination of rotational motion around the y-axis and sliding in the y-axis. It can also be used in robotics, where its compactness will simplify technical solutions and in other fields of industry.
