Description

AUTOMATIC HAIR CUTTING HELMET
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION The present invention may be included in the technical field of hairdressing. In particular, the object of the invention refers to an automatic hair cutter, the function of which is to do haircuts previously configured by the user with software.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Currently, due to people living with a fast pace, simple actions such as a haircut are left aside since people do not have the necessary time they require.
Patent number US4,602,542 granted to Alfred Natrasevschi describes a hair cutting apparatus operated by a robotic arm being configured by a computer and positioned in a previously defined area.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention refers to an automatic hair cutter which allows performing automatic haircuts, for users not having enough time to go to a hairdresser's.
The main object of the present invention is therefore to provide for hair-cutting tasks, by using automatized blades arranged in a helmet. In particular, the haircutter comprises a helmet, preferably made of plastic or equivalent material, wherein the other components will be accommodated.
The blades are arranged inside the helmet, these being able to move around the helmet with the help of small motors, as well as one or several sensors for measuring the separation of the blades with respect to the helmet, that is, correspondingly, the distance between the head and the blades, in such a way that the blades do not damage the user accidentally. It is another object of the present invention to collect the cut hair by means of grooves and a compact suctioning device. It is another object of the present invention to actuate the haircut by means of an on and off button.
It is another object of the present invention to provide for choosing the desired haircut by using software in an electronic device, preferably wirelessly
It is another object of the present invention to comprise a deposit for keeping the cut hair.
It is another object of the present invention to be provided with a support, for supporting the helmet in the user's body, preferably on the shoulders.
It is another object of the present invention to comprise a sensor for measuring the distance between the user's head and the blades. It is another object of the present invention to comprise a rechargeable battery.
DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
To implement the present description being made and in order to provide a better understanding of the characteristics of the invention, according to a preferred practical embodiment thereof, a set of drawings is attached as part of this description, with an illustrative but not limitative purpose, which represents the following: Figure 1 .- it shows a perspective view of the automatic hair cutter object of the present invention, depicting, on the one hand, the helmet with all the elements mounted thereon, and on the other hand, a mobile telephone incorporating an interface for selecting the desired haircut.
Figure 2.- It shows a perspective rear view of the helmet of figure 1 .
PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION
The following is a detailed description, with the help of the figures 1 -2 referred above, of an exemplary preferred embodiment of the automatic hair cutter according to the present invention.
The hair cutter of the invention comprises a helmet (1 ), onto which the other components are mounted, as it is explained below. Inside the helmet (1 ) several blades are arranged (7) for cutting hair of the user wearing the helmet (1 ) on their head (4). The blades (7) can be moved with respect to the helmet (1 ). In particular, the blades (7) are movable along the guides (14), both for defining cutting paths, for performing the haircut, and for moving closer to or moving away from the head (4) of the user and defining the length of the haircut. Therefore, small motors (not shown) are provided for actuating the blades (7) displacements. On the other hand, sensors (8) detect the distance of the blades (7) to the head (4).
A support (14) is mounted on the helmet (1 ) for supporting the helmet (1 ) on some part of the user's body. Particularly, the support (5) may be located at the lower part of the helmet (1 ), for allowing the helmet (1 ) to rest on the user shoulders, around the neck (3).
During the blades displacement (7) along the cutting paths (14) thereof, the user hair is cut, which generates cut hair remains. To avoid accumulation of cut hair, which will make it difficult to continue with the hair cutting process, and also for cleaning and hygienic reasons, a suctioning device (6) is arranged to suction the cut hair, that is directed towards a deposit (10) at the bottom of the helmet (1 ), through one or several grooves (2), inwardly defined at the helmet (1 ) periphery.
A control unit (not shown) is mounted on the helmet (1 ), for controlling the movements of the motors actuating the blades (7), as well as the suctioning device (6) operation.
The control unit is in turn connected to a selector (1 1 ) which, through software and a user interface, allows programming (or selecting) a desired haircut. Preferably, the connection is a wireless one, such that the selector (1 1 ) may be out of the helmet (1 ). In particular, the selector (1 1 ), or where appropriate, its interface can be integrated in the helmet (1 ), although it is also preferred that the selector (1 1 ) and its interface can be integrated in an electronic device (12) such as a mobile telephone, a computer, a tablet, etc.
The control unit and the selector (1 1 ) are preferably connected wirelessly.
In the helmet (1 ) there are mounted power supply means (9), for electrically supplying the motors, the sensors, the suction device (6), the control unit and the selector (1 1 ). Preferably, the power supply means (9) comprise a power source, such as for example a rechargeable battery.
Optionally, although very preferably, the helmet (1 ) is also provided with an on / off switch (13) which allows connecting or disconnecting the power supply.
