Abstract

Method and joint produced by this method, used for lining joints of pipes preferably intended for conveying any type of fluid that must be conveyed through thermally insulated pipelines, wherein the pipes, except for their ends, are already lined with a thermal insulation, polyurethane foam, and externally covered with a polyethylene sheet, the pipe ends being not lined in order to define zones that can be provided with any kind of lining and to allow the pipe ends to be joined.
