Definitions
- the present invention is in the field of gaming devices, and more particularly to a method of detecting obstacles and a VR helmet.
- VR I is a comprehensive integration technology, involving computer graphics, human-computer interaction technology, sensing technology, artificial intelligence and other fields, it uses computer to generate realistic three-dimensional visual, listening, smell and other feelings, so that people as a participant through appropriate devices, Naturally experience and interact with the virtual world. When the user moves the position, the computer can perform complex calculations immediately, and return accurate 3D world images to produce a sense of presence.
- the technology integrates the latest developments in computer graphics (CG) technology, computer simulation technology, artificial intelligence, sensing technology, display technology, network parallel processing and other technologies. It is a high-tech simulation system generated by computer technology.
- VR helmet An ideal video game tool. Since the realism of VR helmets in entertainment is not too high, VR helmets have developed most rapidly in this respect in recent years. For example, the VR helmet game system called 'Virtuality' developed in the UK, equipped with HMD, greatly enhances the sense of reality, and its VR helmet also shows a good prospect in home entertainment.
- Embodiments of the present invention provide a method for detecting an obstacle, and the purpose is to In view of the fact that people tend to ignore obstacles in front of them when using VR helmets to play a dangerous situation, it provides a method of warning the front obstacles in combination with infrared obstacle detection technology.
- a method of detecting an obstacle includes the following steps:
- the detection radar is turned on
- a warning tone is sounded based on the obstacle distance.
- the embodiment of the invention also provides a VR helmet, comprising:
- a recording unit configured to record an alarm ringing trigger condition and corresponding different sounding modes according to the obstacle distance
- a determining unit wherein the input end is respectively connected to the output end of the recording unit and the output end of the opening unit, and is used for determining whether the warning ringing trigger condition is currently reached;
- the warning unit has an input end connected to an output end of the recording unit and an output end of the determining unit, respectively, for issuing a warning ringtone according to an obstacle distance.
- the invention is equipped with an infrared obstacle detection radar on the user's VR helmet (or VR helmet glasses) when the user starts using When the VR helmet is used, it can judge whether there is an obstacle in front, and once it detects an obstacle in front, VR The helmet will emit a warning ringtone to prevent users from accidentally seeing the outside environment when they are immersed in the game, ensuring the user's safety.
- FIG. 1 is a schematic flow chart of a method for detecting an obstacle according to an embodiment of the present invention
- FIG. 2 is a schematic structural view of a VR helmet according to an embodiment of the present invention.
- figure 1 It is a schematic flowchart of a method for detecting an obstacle provided by the embodiment of the present invention. For the convenience of description, only parts related to the embodiment of the present invention are shown.
- the warning ringing trigger condition is recorded in step S101 and the different sounding modes are corresponding according to the obstacle distance.
- the user VR helmet is taken as an example, VR
- the helmet is equipped with an infrared obstacle detection radar, which will record the warning ringing trigger conditions and the different sounding modes according to the obstacle distance: there is no obstacle in the range of 60 degrees ahead, if the obstacle is 3-4 Meter, a slight drip sound, if the obstacle distance is 1.5-3 meters, a loud sound is heard, if the obstacle distance is 0-1.5 Meters, continuous uninterrupted drops, and vibration matching gamepads.
- step S102 after the user starts using the VR helmet, the detection radar is turned on.
- the gyro equipped with the gyro detects that the helmet continues to shake, indicating that the user A is using VR helmet, open the detection radar at this time.
- step S103 it is determined whether the alert ringing trigger condition is currently reached.
- step S104 if the warning ringing trigger condition is not currently reached, the original condition is maintained.
- step S105 if the warning ringing trigger condition is currently reached, an alert ringtone is issued according to the obstacle distance.
- the VR helmet If the range of 60 degrees ahead is detected, there is an obstacle within 4 meters, that is, the warning ringing condition is currently reached, if user A The distance of the front obstacle is 3.3 meters. According to the sounding method corresponding to the obstacle distance, the VR helmet emits a slight drip sound to alert the user A to the front obstacle and avoid collision, ensuring the user A. Security.
- the invention is equipped with an infrared obstacle detection radar on the user's VR helmet (or VR helmet glasses) when the user starts using VR
- VR helmet or VR helmet glasses
- the helmet will emit a warning ringtone to prevent users from accidentally seeing the outside environment when they are immersed in the game, ensuring the user's safety.
- the user recommendation system includes:
- the recording unit 21 is configured to record an alarm ringing trigger condition and a different sounding mode according to the obstacle distance;
- the opening unit 22 is configured to open the detecting radar after the user starts using the VR helmet;
- a judging unit 23 having an input end and an output end of the recording unit 21 and the opening unit 22 The output terminal is connected to determine whether the alarm ringing trigger condition is currently reached;
- the warning unit 24 has its input end and the output end of the recording unit 21 and the judging unit 23, respectively.
- the output is connected to alert the ringer based on the distance of the obstacle.
- the working principle is: the recording unit 21 records the triggering condition of the warning ringtone and the different sounding modes according to the obstacle distance; the opening unit 22, after the user starts to use the VR helmet, the detection radar is turned on; the determining unit 23 determines whether the warning ringing trigger condition is currently reached; the warning unit 24 sends a warning ringing according to the obstacle distance.
