Abstract

The gathering and placement machine of the invention basically comprises a main body (1) at least one grain attachment assembly (9) and at least one vacuum assembly (10). Within said main body (1), at least one rail (7) enabling movable transpositioning of the vacuum assembly (10), and at least one rail carrier body (6) carrying said rail (7). Apart from the main body (1), there are the grain separation body (2) positioned to sort grains such as hazelnut, peanut, etc.; the unsorted grain chamber (3) where not-yet- sorted grains are carried in said grain separation body (2); the grain transfer member (4) transferring the grains into the grain attachment assembly (9) are comprised.

Description

DESCRIPTION
A NOVEL GATHERING AND PLACEMENT MACHINE DESIGN
Subject of Invention
The invention relates to a gathering and placement machine used in production of chocolate and ranking fruits within the chocolate equally. The most important feature of said gathering and placement machine is that it is designed with a construction enabling carrying of fruits using pneumatic systems and placement of the same within chocolate.
Present Technical Field
Use of machinery in food production has become widespread. Particularly in production of foods such as chocolate, a number of machines are used for preparation of product, provision of form for the same, and for packaging. Among these, depositor and similar machines are machines used in chocolate production enable shaping of chocolate and distribution of substances such as hazelnut, peanut etc. to be included therewithin. A method used in production of chocolate and similar food materials to provide product variety is inclusion of some food substances into chocolate. These food substances are generally grain-shaped materials such nut types as hazelnut, peanut, almond, etc. although they may vary depending of desired product characteristics. It is a great advantage that these substances are within the chocolate in terms of customer preference. Situation of such inclusion within chocolate is indicated on its package. On images on the package, for instance hazelnut grains are distributed within the chocolate equally and seem attractive. However, in reality, distribution of grain-shaped substances such as hazelnut, peanut, etc. within chocolate is not proper and symmetrical. Mostly, these are disordered and sometimes these project out from chocolate. Once a customer purchases a chocolate looking at its package, inability of seeing the image or similar with opening of the related package causes disappointment. As the image constituted by company and products differ, desired marketing success cannot be obtained. Object and Description of the Invention An object of the invention is, in a gathering and placement machine used in chocolate production, to enable separation of foods such as nuts placed within the chocolate in desired order and placement of the same within the chocolate in an ordered and desired geometry.
An advantage of the gathering and placement of the invention is separation of the nuts to be placed within the chocolate in desired sizes. Another advantage of the gathering and placement of the invention is that the nuts separated to be placed within the chocolate can be carried by vacuum with a carrier operating with pneumatic system.
For better understanding of the system of the invention, the following figures will be utilized.

The gathering and placement machine of the invention is basically designed for proper placement of grains such as nut into melt chocolate in chocolate production. However, it may also be used in similar production techniques and products. These similar productions may be production lines such as chocolate, dessert, wafers, and in ready- to-serve food industries. Nevertheless, the figures provided as examples for better understanding of the gathering and placement machine of the invention are given for a chocolate. It should not be restrictive. The gathering and placement machine and the grain separation system in which nuts are sorted are seen in Fig. 1 , Fig. 2 and Fig. 3. The grain sorting system may be in different shapes. Grain sorting may be performed along with or apart from the gathering and placement machine of the invention, and the grains can be brought to the placement and gathering machine. The gathering and placement machine of the invention, along with the most important parts, the grain attachment assembly and the vacuum assembly, are illustrated in Fig. 4, Fig. 5, Fig. 6 and Fig. 7. The grain attachment assembly in the gathering and placement machine of the invention is illustrated in Fig. 8, Fig. 9, Fig. 10 and Fig. 11. The vacuum assembly is illustrated in Fig. 12, Fig. 13 and Fig. 14.
The gathering and placement machine of the invention basically comprises a main body (1) at least one grain attachment assembly (9) and at least one vacuum assembly (10). The grain attachment assembly (9) as one of the basic components in the gathering and placement machine is positioned within the main body (1), and is used to shape the grains sprinkled or remaining disorderly properly and get the same closer to the vacuum assembly (10) on top. The grain attachment assembly (9) comprises the protection chamber (9a) holding the grains together; the guide bearing (9d) which is present on the lower portion of said protection chamber (9a) and on which the grains are sprinkled; the grain carriers (9f) carrying the grains; the guide holes (9e) through which the grain carriers (9f) passes in said guide bearing (9d); the lower carrier (9b) on which said grain carriers (9f) are positioned; the lower carrier columns (9c) carrying said lower carrier (9b); the uplifting piston (11) enabling up-and-down movement of the lower carrier (9b) and the grain carriers (9f) along with said lower carrier columns (9c). The vibration engine (12) is used in the grain attachment assembly (9) to constitute vibration. When desired, the uplifting piston (11) may directly be connected to the lower carrier (9b) without use of the vibration engine (12), and such operation of the system is possible. The grain bearing (9i) shaped as a groove is formed on the end portion of the grain carriers (9f) in order for the grains to settle onto the end portions of the grains carriers (9f) after the grains are sprinkled onto the guide bearing (9d) by entering into the protection chamber (9a) within the grain attachment assembly (9). In normal circumstances, when the grains are within the protection chamber (9a) and sprinkled onto the guide bearing (9d), these are also on top of the grain carriers (9f) which is bar- shaped and mounted onto the lower carrier (9b). The grain carriers (9f) moves upwards with uplifting of the same by the uplifting piston (11) of the lower carrier (9d) connected thereto. In this case, the grains are raised upwards on the end portions of the grain carriers (9f). With uplifting of the grains, these are pulled via vacuum (by forming negative pressure) thanks to the vacuum assembly (10) to be mentioned below, and these are collectively and properly, as if individually, transferred to the places in question. As seen in Fig. 6 and Fig. 7, the grain carriers (9f) may be combined with the vacuum assembly (10) on top, or may be separate as below. In the gathering and placement machine of the invention, there is the vacuum assembly (10) that can be positioned on very top of the grain attachment assembly (9), however, can also be moved to other places due to its mobility. The vacuum assembly (10) functions to take the grains which are brought onto the grain carriers (9f) in the grain attachment assembly (9) which thusly have a proper geometry, to carry the same with the same proper geometry, and to carry the same into melt chocolate or another substance. Hence, the vacuum assembly (10) is designed to be movable on the rail carrier body (6) formed on the main body (1) and the rail (7) on said rail carrier body (6). The rail (7) is, in normal circumstances, a linear rail. However, when desired, it may proceed in a horizontal or vertical, curved or flat path depending on the route of the vacuum assembly (10). Transfer of energy and air to/into the vacuum assembly (10) is enabled via the movable connection (8). Within the vacuum assembly (10), at least one vacuum assembly body (10a); at least one the vacuum pipes (10b) in said vacuum assembly body (10a); at least one air carrier channel (10d) carrying air into said vacuum pipes (10b); and the vacuum lifter (10c) vacuum-pulling and holding the grains on the end portion of said vacuum pipes (10b) are comprised. As seen in Fig. 3, Fig. 4 and Fig. 5, the vacuum assembly (10) may, thanks to the rail (7), remain in line with the grain attachment assembly (9) at the bottom such that it such the grains via vacuum, or in a separate place such that it may release the grains it holds via vacuum to places in question. In the figures, it is not deemed necessary to illustrate how the grains are released to chocolate semi-product or somewhere else, as this is production-related section.
In the gathering and placement machine of the invention, the grain carriers (9f) in the grain attachment assembly (9) and the vacuum pipes (10b) and vacuum lifter (10c) in the vacuum assembly (10) must be in the same level, as if symmetries of one another.
Only when the system is likewise, the grains in the grain bearings (9i) on tips of the grain carriers (9f) can attach to the vacuum pipes (10b) in the vacuum assembly (10) and to the vacuum lifter (10c) at the end portion with vacuum effect (with negative pressure). With attachment of the grains to the vacuum lifter (10c), the grains may be transfer to a desired place and be released properly with elimination of the vacuum effect.
These assemblies and system used in the gathering and placement machine of the invention may also be used in production of another food, e.g., cake, sugar, gum, etc., production of take-home foods and even packaging, labelling (signing) systems apart from food.

Claims

1. A gathering and placement machine design characterized in that it comprises a main body (1), at least one attachment assembly (9) and at least one vacuum assembly (10) in said main body (1).
2. An assembly according to claim 1 characterized in that it comprises at least one rail (7) enabling movable transpositioning of the vacuum assembly (10), and at least one rail carrier body (6) carrying said rail (7) within the main body (1).
An assembly according to claim 1 characterized in that a grain attachment assembly (9) comprises a protection chamber (9a) holding grains together; a guide bearing (9d) which is present on the lower portion of said protection chamber (9a) and on which the grains are sprinkled; grain carriers (9f) carrying the grains; guide holes (9e) through which the grain carriers (9f) passes in said guide bearing (9d); a lower carrier (9b) on which said grain carriers (9f) are positioned; lower carrier columns (9c) carrying said lower carrier (9b); an uplifting piston (11) enabling up-and-down movement of the lower carrier (9b) and the grain carriers (9f) along with said lower carrier columns (9c).
4. An assembly according to claim 1 or 3 characterized in that it comprises a vibration engine (12) to form vibration in the grain attachment assembly (9), and an uplifting piston (11) comprises a structure connected directly to the lower carrier (9b) without use of the vibration engine (12).
5. An assembly according to claim 1 or 3 characterized in that the grain carriers (9f) comprise a grain bearing (9i) on the end portions thereof.
An assembly according to claim 1 characterized in that at least one vacuum assembly body (10a); at least one the vacuum pipes (10b) in said vacuum assembly body (10a); at least one air carrier channel (10d) carrying air into said vacuum pipes (10b); and the vacuum lifter (10c) vacuum-pulling and holding the grains on the end portion of said vacuum pipes (10b) are comprised within the vacuum assembly (10).
7. An assembly according to claim 1 or 6 characterized in that it comprises a movable connection (8) enabling energy and air to/into the vacuum assembly (10).
An assembly according to claim 1 , 3 or 6 characterized in that the grain carriers (9f) in the grain attachment assembly (9) and the vacuum pipes (10b) and vacuum lifter (10c) in the vacuum assembly (10) may be in the same level.
An assembly according to claim 1 characterized in that it comprises, along with the main body (1), a grain separation body (2) positioned to sort the grains and an unsorted grain chamber (3) in said grain separation body (2) in which not- yet-sorted grains are carried, and a grain transfer member (4) transferring the grains into the grain attachment assembly (9).
10. An assembly according to claim 1 or 10 characterized in that the grain separation body (2) may be in a place separate from the main body when desired.
