Abstract

A hand tool for collecting and sifting shavings in stables was designed for collecting and sifting shavings in stables in order to separate the shavings from animal excrements mixed therein, and is used in the area of sifting, winnowing or selecting solid materals such as animal excrements in shavings in animal stables, using nets, grids, screens or the like, comprising a hollow tube (1) fastened to a rod (3) for supporting and carrying the base (4), with a reinforcing plate (6) at the front end thereof and sidewalls (7) and rear wall (8) on the sides and rear end thereof, the walls being perpendicular to the base (3) and like the base (4) formed with a plurality of openings (5).

INSTRUMENTO MANUAL PARA COLETAR E PENEIRAR MARAVALHA EM ESTÁBULO CAMPO DA INVENÇÃO  FIELD OF THE INVENTION

Refere-se a presente solicitação de patente, a um instrumento manual projetado para coletar e peneirar maravalha em estábulo, com a finalidade de separar os excrementos dos animais no qual estão misturados com a maravalha, e desta forma possibilitar a reutilização da referida maravalha por mais vezes antes do seu descarte final.  The present application refers to a manual instrument designed to collect and sieve shavings in a stable, in order to separate the excrements of the animals in which they are mixed with the shavings, and in this way to enable reuse of said shavings for more times prior to its final disposal.

ANTECEDENTES DA INVENÇÃO E TÉCNICA ANTERIOR BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION AND PREVIOUS TECHNIQUE

Atualmente, a criação de cavalos depende muito da qualidade das instalações utilizadas nesta atividade. Sendo que toda a criação deve dispor de instalações para confinamento desses animais em baias ou boxes. Este tipo de instalação, conhecida como estábulo, é de grande importância para o bom desenvolvimento e a manutenção da saúde dos cavalos. A higiene dentro das baias é de extrema importância para a saúde dos animais e neste aspecto o piso tem um papel primordial. Existem vários tipos de pisos que os criadores utilizam nas baias, desde o piso de cimento recoberto com serragem ou maravalha, até pisos sintéticos, de borracha ou materiais plásticos. Porém o mais utilizado são os recobertos/forrados por maravalha devido ao seu custo de manutenção. Entende-se por ma- ravalha toda a raspa, fragmento, pedacinho da madeira, resíduo de beneficiamento de qualquer tipo de madeira.  Currently, horse breeding depends very much on the quality of the facilities used in this activity.
