Abstract

La présente invention concerne le domaine technique de l'élevage, et concerne un procédé vidéo de comptage de moutons comprenant les étapes consistant à : 1) placer un indicateur lumineux sur le haut du corps de chaque mouton ; 2) fournir une caméra de prise de vues en continu et un enclos transitoire placé dans le champ de visée de ladite caméra, séparer le troupeau en plusieurs groupes selon la capacité maximale de l'enclos, et faire entrer les différents groupes dans l'enclos, chacun à son tour, et l'y laisser pendant une durée t ; 3) lorsqu'un groupe du troupeau pénètre dans l'enclos transitoire, activer la caméra pour prendre des images en continu pendant une durée t, et éteindre ensuite la caméra ; 4) lorsque tout le troupeau est resté dans l'enclos transitoire pendant la durée t, utiliser un logiciel pour identifier le nombre d'indicateurs lumineux filmés par la caméra pendant chaque durée t ; et 5) additionner les nombres comptés à l'étape 4) pour obtenir le nombre total de moutons.
