- the present invention generally relates to a setting for jewelry, and more particularly it relates to a setting for multiple gemstones.
- Jewelry includes precious and semi-precious gemstones which may be expensive. Generally the size of the gemstone is one of the important cost determining factors. Considering this, to give value for money so many inventors fashioned various ways. One of the ways is to develop a gemstone setting system and method through which particular gemstone assembly will give the impression of being as a single large gemstone, a solitaire. This final appearance of the gemstone is actually an illusion.
- Patent No. US 6,519,972 Bl by inventor Siebenberg B. N. discloses the invention about the appearance of a large oval stone from several smaller stones, preferably four, smaller triangular-shaped stones. The side facets of the smaller stones are cut so as to meet at a point with no gaps between the smaller stones.
- Patent No. US20080163647, arrangement for article of jewelry, by Rosen R. C discloses a jewelry arrangement having a mounting, a main gemstone positioned in the mounting, and a plurality of secondary gemstones positioned in the mounting underneath the main gemstone.

- Patent No. US 20140102140 A Multi-gemstone mounting that creates illusion of a single large gemstone by Eric Nhaissi suggests a gemstone setting for magnifying and enhancing the appearance of a multiplicity of gemstones set therein, creating the illusion of a single, very large gem.
