Abstract

The invention relates to a method (100) for automated modelling of a part, comprising the following steps: - acquisition (104) of several images in said part comprising at least one piece of colour information and at least one piece of depth information, according to a plurality of positions and/or locations, termed the acquisition, in said part; - obtaining (126) from said acquisition a point cloud relating to said part from said images; - detection (130), from said point cloud, of at least one surface, termed the reference surface, of said part; - determination (132-142) of a two- or three-dimensional representation of said part by analysis of said point cloud, slice by slice, along an axis, termed the reference axis, passing through said reference surface.
