Definitions
- the invention relates to a mobile surface cleaning device with a cleaning tool which is supported on a chassis, which in turn via wheels, for example via two wheels mounted on a common axis, a part of the positional stability achieved while at least one support wheel, but preferably the two near the cleaning tool are positioned to ensure the most accurate working distance of the cleaning tool against the traffic surface to be processed traffic areas.
- cleaning tools come in this regard, case by case different embodiments into consideration, such as sucking or scraping cleaning tools.
- Rotary cleaning tools such as roller-type brooms with bristles or spring tines are particularly frequently used.
- Such possibly also interchangeable attached to a tool carrier cleaning tools attack the traffic area to be processed in an elongated exposure area, which is oriented predominantly transversely to the orientation of the surface cleaning device to edit the traffic area when experiencing the chassis strip.
- the arrangement of support wheels is in alignment with the area of action, and preferably
- CONFIRMATION COPY on two support wheels at both end portions of the exposure range, shown as useful to detect about transversely running soil stages or bumps.
- this arrangement precludes use of the surface cleaning device when the cleaning tool is to move closely along a wall or a curb.
- the object of the invention is therefore to provide a surface cleaning device which is robust and versatile in a conventional manner, but which largely allows to avoid conventional shortcomings and achieves the best possible working results under different conditions of use.
- the solution according to the invention provides (at least) a support wheel in the region of the cleaning tool which can be moved in one of several predefined positions in a plane parallel to the traffic surface. This can be achieved laterally to the cleaning tool - with tool-oriented alignment of the support wheels and the cleaning tool on continuous bumps, heels and the like traffic surfaces - at a distant processing of surfaces preferably an arrangement of the support wheel (or two support wheels).
- a transfer in front of or behind the cleaning tool is possible in order to be able to process, in particular, edge areas along walls, walls, curbs and the like, in most cases requiring special cleaning.
- the feasibility of the support wheels can be designed in a structurally simple manner by suitably predetermined connection points on the tool carrier with optional screw connections or plug-in holders.
- connection points for an arrangement of the support wheels can be specified on both sides of the action area and, in addition, connection points for at least one arrangement of the support wheels in front of or behind the cleaning tool.
- the machine concept provides that the chassis in the forward direction of travel at the front in the central region has a thrust connection, which is substantially vertically aligned and is provided with a forward-facing boom for the tool carrier.
- two support wheels are provided in the region of the tool carrier, which are to be arranged on both sides in order to achieve a support line for a tilt-proof support of the cleaning device.
- a single support wheel as well as two mutually opposite support wheels can also be connected via a Stauerradarm with the tool carrier to obtain a pivotable in a horizontal plane arrangement. This is easier both for a manual transfer, with the selected position of the support wheel regularly secured by locking or the like is.
- the design with a pivotable Stauerradarm also allows a fast motor adjustment to implement in a desired other support wheel position.
- a support wheel is preferably designed as a directional wheel with a mobility about a vertical track axis.
- the wheel can be designed as a freely movable follower wheel, the vertical track axis with respect to the wheel axis not crossing - so spatially offset - runs.
- a support wheel may be connected to a steering and thus achieve a steerability of the surface cleaning device in a predetermined manner.
- follower wheels arise in Reversier ceremonies the surface cleaning device, so if this overruns a region of a traffic surface back and forth, particularly strong reversing movements for a tracking position.
- the steering mobility of the support wheels is also important if the tool carrier is to be pivoted relative to the chassis in an approximately horizontal pivot plane and thereby inclined to a predetermined direction of travel.
- the height adjustment of the cleaning tool to be achieved via the support wheels does not only relate to the respective fine adjustment with regard to the intensity of the influence on the traffic surface, the working speed or a restriction to coarse contamination. Rather, in the case of continuous use often very extensively wearing cleaning equipment - such as roller brushes - pretend a wide adjustment with respect to the height of the tool carrier. However, this provides the lowering of the tool carrier relative to the chassis also a tilted inclination, participate in the attached to the tool carrier support wheels. This oblique deflection of the track axis of the respective support wheel can, if the track axis is not (more) perpendicular to the traffic surface, produce height changes relative to the tool carrier and the tool.
- a surface cleaning device characterized in that the tool carrier relative to the chassis and the support wheel relative to the tool carrier are each height adjustable.
- the height adjustment between the tool carrier and the chassis makes it possible to lower the tool carrier - in order to track down the tool when worn, for example - without thereby achieving a tendency to tilt.
- the tool carrier maintains its orientation with respect to the vertical to the traffic surface and thus also ensures a (vertical) alignment of the track axis for the support wheel, so that steering angles in the region of at least one support wheel for the height adjustment remain without impact.
- the height adjustment can advantageously be carried out in a vertically oriented guide between the chassis and a boom to which the tool holder is advantageously pivotally mounted.
- a cleaning device can be brought into an inclined position to the direction of travel. Even if this pivoting is not given, provides such a boom - as well as provided between boom and chassis height adjustment at this point - a compact design.
- the adjustability can be achieved by suitable adjustment means such as gear, thread, Spindles and the like for manual operation as well as be designed by a motorized operation.
- the height of the support wheel relative to the tool carrier is adjusted, and indeed regularly by an opposite and approximately equal adjustment.
- the support wheel is mounted for easy and clear adjustment to a Stitzradarm, in which two vertically directed arm portions against each other longitudinally displaceable - for example, telescopically displaceable - are.
- a surface cleaning device of the type considered here may have a preferably mounted on the chassis drive.
- the cleaning tool - such as a rotating brush - be driven independently and are also driven by a drive on the chassis.
- the surface cleaning device can be steered by hand, especially if it has trailing designs for the support wheels. Likewise, it can also be controlled by known steering by hand or by an automatic control.
- the component combination of the chassis and provided as an attachment cleaning device is preferably directed to a design with single-axis system. It is also conceivable to use the system components in the area of a two-axle system with four wheels.
- a further advantageous embodiment of the surface cleaning device according to the preamble of claim 1 is achieved in that in this concept, the tool carrier is provided to the central region of the chassis out with a pendulum support forming on this a support joint. With this construction, the support wheel integrated in the system can be held in a non-releasable position of use by means of a support wheel arm fixed fixedly in the region of the tool carrier.
- the concept of the pendulum support provides that it is stationary fixed to the tool carrier and cooperates with an extending in the area between the boom and tool holder adjusting device so that each optimal working position can be specified at the beginning of the surface cleaning for the brush tool.
- an "automatic positioning system” becomes effective, since an optimal contact area of the brush-shaped cleaning tool is permanently achieved by means of the pendulum support.
- This system is designed so that by means of the pendulum support and / or in particular by hand to be operated adjusting device in each case an optimal Kehryak or an optimal sweeping line in the region of the cleaning tool is maintained long term.
- the adjusting device can advantageously be provided with a spring or the like compensating element in the region of an actuator which predetermines a respective distance between the arm and the tool carrier.
- a spring or the like compensating element in the region of an actuator which predetermines a respective distance between the arm and the tool carrier.
- a further embodiment of the system provides that the pendulum support can also be connected directly to the adjusting device cooperatively with the cleaning tool. This produces a support connection independent of the tool carrier.
- the pendulum effect in combination of pendulum support and adjusting device can be optimally adjusted to the respective cleaning tool.
- variable versions of actuators are conceivable, and these are conceivable in the form of mechanical, hydraulic or electrical actuators.
- the application of a compensating spring in the region of the adjusting device is conceivable in variable mounting positions.

Furthermore, a height adjustment H, H '(Fig. 10, Fig. 11) of the boom 6 relative to the chassis 2 in the region of the thrust connection 5 is established. This results from the different height positions of the boom 6 opposite the thrust connection 5 in the comparison of Fig. 10 and 11. The boom 6 is thus lower in accordance with the wear of the rotary brush 9, without any inclination in the boom and in the tool carrier 8 mounted thereon.
