Description

DISPENSER FOR A SHOWER
Technical field:
The area that this invention belong to is plumbing field specially the washing and showering equipments also it belongs to bathroom accessories also it could be used in the operating room for sterilization before surgery and before and after seeing patients.
Background Art:
For long time the innovation and inventions in the bathroom equipments such as water faucet and showers was only restricted to cosmetic areas, which lead to persistence in the way in which the personal shower was taken without any new development in
comparison to other areas, for example in the past if you want to change the TV channel you have to stand and change it from the TV manually, but now we do it through the remote control. For taking a shower and for personal cleanliness, you must pour the soap, body wash, or the shampoo manually over the body part and this requires sometimes time and efforts, especially in the elderly and the disabled persons, also in children to the degree that make them either delay or not taking a shower.
Disclosure of Invention:
In the beginning I would like to mention that I already executed this invention and tested it practically on my model.
This invention consists of:
Part one : see FIG ( 1 ), ( 2 ) the liquid soap, shampoo, body wash dispenser 1 fixed on the shower tube 2, that consists of storage container 3 made of metal or plastic with different capacity according to the needs or intended use, but usually its capacity ranges from 300 to 1000ml, outside the container at the bottom an automatic button 4 that control piston 5 over it a metal Springer 6 inside cylinder 7 at the end of it twist 8 that connect between the cylinder and the storage container, below the cylinder after the piston a hole in it a small rubber seal 9 that connect to a small tube 10 with a base 11 inside it a small Springer 12 at the end of it a small twist 13 that control the hole in the rubber seal . Also an important note you may put more than one dispenser over the main shower tube, for example one for the soap, and another one for the shampoo, etc, also we could design electric dispenser.
Part 2: see FIG ( 1 ),( 3 )Tube number 14 from plastic or metal or mix of rubber, fibers and metals that connect between the base of tube number 10 and tube 15 (that fixed on hole below or at the middle of the main shower tube 2 Also tube number 14 could be connected into the hole directly. The connection in both ways could be through direct welding or pressure, or through nut and seal fixed into the bolted tube 15, and the later is the better option, because it gives the possibility of fixing this invention to connect to bolted tube 15 that connect to showers maid specially for this invention. Also this open the possibility of manufacturing different designs and models for tube 14, as it could be shortened and made as part of tube 10 inside the distributor directly to connect directly to in hole inside the shower tube, and this will lead to better control in the amount of liquid soap, due to presence of remaining small amount of the liquid soap in this tube after pumping.
Part 3: see FIG ( 3 ) small tube 15 fixed in hole below or in the middle of shower tube, this small tube 15 mounted on the shower tube from one side and from the other side mounted on tube 14 through bolt, nut, and seal or through pressure.
Part 4: see FIG ( 1 ) , ( 3 ) shower tube 2 that contain hole in which tube 15 is mounted.
Part 5: see FIG ( 4 ) soap dispenser mount in the shower tube which could be permanent mount through welding etc or removable and that is better because it will allow removing it to clean. It could be removable through attaching it to the shower tube as demonstrated in picture 18 Olso, it gives the possibility of fixing this invention to connect to bolted tube 15 that connect to showers maid specially for this invention. Part 6: the shower tube that is flexible or malleable (that made as phone) and in this case a short tube will be added immediately before the malleable shower phone tube and connect to it, that will be mounted on water faucet. The soap dispenser will be mounted on this small tube, as in the regular shower tube.
Part 7: the use of this invention in the regular water faucet for hand washing etc: in this case the soap dispenser will connect through the connecting tube and a hole.
Invention mechanisms and the way it works:
The invention consists of see FIG ( 1 ) , ( 2 ), ( 3 ) soap dispenser 1 mounted on the shower tube 2 both connect through tube 14,
pumping the soap via pushing the dispenser button 4 , so piston 5 will push the liquid soap that will close twist 8 and open twist 9, so the pressurized liquid soap go through small tube 10, then to tube
14 and tube 15, then to hole and from it to the inside of shower tube 2, so when the water passes through the shower tube
according to the needed amount, the soap will mix with the water and it will create froths that will pour from the shower on the hair and all over the body so we do not need to add the soap to our self separately.
When the button 4 is released the spring 6 will push piston 5, so it will draw an amount of liquid soap from the container 3 through twist 8, which will be ready to dispense again. The function of twist 8 that it allows the passage of liquid soap in one direction only from container 3 to cylinder 7, and the function of twist 13 and spring 12 that they allow the passage of pressurized liquid soap in one direction to tube 14), and at the same time they do not allow the water to leak to cylinder 7 The control of the amount of soap dispensed, achieved through the number of times you push the dispenser button 4 Also the degree and the timing of soap froth and mixing will depend on the amount of water passes through the shower that is controlled through the shower or the tap valve, so if you open the valve and have small amount of water going through the shower it will give the best concentration of soap and frothing as a result of strong mixing between the soap and water, and this will save the amount of soap, then after that the water will come without any soap for final washing, and through this way we made showering easier and saved a lot of effort and time compared to the old way of showering. Also saved in the amount of soap that is used in homes, specially in the commercial field such as hotels, hospitals etc.
Brief Description of drawings:
The numbers of figures are (4) figures:
Figure number(l) : A complete picture of the invention that include the numbers of each part.
The rest of the figures include detailed picture of each part of the invention and each part has its own number as it is mentioned in the detailed descriptions.
Best mode for carrying out the invention:
As I mentioned previously I already executed this invention and tested it practically on my model, but I would like to emphasize and add that this invention could be produced as one unit permanently connected to the shower tube, or as separate removable unit that could be mounted to the shower tube or water faucet, and in both ways the best way to connect tube 14 that connect between the base of small tube 10 and the other tube 15 that is fixed on hole below or in the middle of shower tube 2 through nut and seal on tube 15, and in this way it allows to clean the soap dispenser and it allows to connect mount this invention to the already previously manufactured and designed shower tubes and water faucet tubes to be attached to this invention.
Industrial Applicability:
As I mentioned the industrial applicability of this invention are in multiple fields the bathroom equipments, and pluming accessories also in the healthcare field in the area of physicians and healthcare
sterilization for the operating rooms and before and after seeing patients.
