Abstract

Terminal (1) de transferencia de remolques o semi-remolques (14), que comprende por lo menos una vía (2) provista de carriles (2a) para el acceso de un vehículo (3) ferroviario, estando dispuesta dicha vía (2) alineada a una rampa o andén (16) de carga y descarga de dichos remolques o semi-remolques (14), y se caracteriza por el hecho de que entre los carriles (2a), en el subsuelo (10) de la vía (2), están instalados una pluralidad de dispositivos (4) elevadores para desplazar verticalmente unas plataformas (5) de soporte de dichos remolques o semi-remolques (14) que están montadas desplazables en el bastidor (6) de los vagones (3a) de dicho vehículo (3) ferroviario, y por el hecho de que dichos dispositivos (4) elevadores están configurados para desplazar verticalmente dichas plataformas (5) de soporte hasta una posición de carga o descarga en la que dichas plataformas (5) quedan dispuestas alineadas con la rampa o andén (16) de carga y descarga para que dichos remolques o semi-remolques (14) puedan ser trasladados por una máquina (15) tractora que circula sobre dicho vehículo (3) ferroviario mientras dicho vehículo (3) ferroviario permanece sobre la vía (2) durante el proceso de carga y descarga.
