Abstract

L'invention concerne un four lequel permet de réaliser, par l'effet thermique, l'expansion de particules d'une matière en vrac, et lequel comporte une chambre de four (14) dans laquelle les particules devant subir une expansion sont introduites par le haut pour ensuite être transportées à travers la chambre de four (14) vers le bas en étant chauffées et en subissant une expansion. Lesdites particules sont récupérées à travers un orifice de récupération (4) situé au fond de la chambre de four (14), le volume de la chambre de four (14) étant limité par une coque extérieure (1) et une coque intérieure (2). Depuis le haut, la coque intérieure (2) s'étend dans le volume entouré par la coque extérieure (1). Le point le plus bas (2.1) de la coque intérieure (2) est située plus haut que le fond de la coque extérieure (1) et que l'extrémité inférieure de la chambre de four (14). La coque intérieure (2) est fermée en bas.
