En pratique, des solutions ont ainsi été proposées par le Demandeur décrites dans les brevets FR 2 867 960, EP 1 740 079. Ces solutions font appel à la mise en œuvre de mécanismes complexes pour assurer cette fonctionnalité. Par exemple, dans le brevet FR 2 867 960, le dispositif met en œuvre une pluralité de pignons qui selon leur position respective commandée par un dispositif sélecteur permettent la distribution de matériau d'essuyage en un format simple ou format double. Selon le brevet EP 1 740 079, on prévoit un mécanisme à came avec un ensemble de pignon-crémaillère qui reste complexe à mettre en œuvre.
