Abstract
The present invention relates to a process for producing an an anolyte liquid comprising (a) providing an aqueous electrolyte solution having a pH of 7 to about 13; and (b) passing the aqueous solution provided in step (a) into an anode chamber of at least one electrolysis cell, wherein the electrode of the anode chamber comprises diamond or doped diamond, to obtain an anolyte, wherein the anolyte has a pH of about 6 to about 8.
