Abstract

A drive device (11) for driving a wheel (7) of a torsion beam axle (1) for an electrically drivable vehicle is proposed, comprising an electric machine (12) and a transmission (13, 14) which is connected on the output side of the electric machine (12) when considered in the direction of force flux in the tractive mode, wherein the housing (26) of the electric machine (12) or the housing (16) of the transmission (13, 14) is screwed directly to the longitudinal link (2) of the vehicle axle or is integrated as a multi-part welded component into the longitudinal link (2).
