Abstract
Description
Basis für eine Bügelstation und Bügelstation Base for an ironing station and ironing station
Beschreibung description
The invention relates to a base for an ironing station for parking an iron according to the preamble of patent claim 1 and an ironing station with such a base, wherein the base has a fastening device for fixing the iron.
From EP 1 709 235 B1 an ironing station with an iron and with a base for receiving the iron is known. The base has a fixed hook-like projection for gripping around a rear housing section and a pivotable bracket for gripping around a front housing section of the iron. Due to the massive hook-like projection, however, the base has relatively large dimensions.
From WO 2008/120168 A2 an ironing station with an iron and with a base is known, which has a front pocket for receiving the sole tip and a rear slider for engaging in a clearance between a rear housing portion of the iron and the sole rear. The slider is controlled by a complex operating mechanism, which is relatively prone to failure due to its high number of parts.
In WO 2008/146254 A1 an ironing station is shown with an iron and with a base having a front slider for receiving the sole tip and a rear cross bar for supporting the iron with its sole rear. This solution is technically relatively simple, but does not allow transportation of the base and the iron as a stable unit.
In EP 1 612 321 B1 an ironing station is shown, the base of which has a multi-part pivotable cover for covering a parked iron. Due to the multi-part and pivotable lid, the base is very heavy and also has large dimensions. An ironing station is known from EP 0 682 142 A2, the base of which has a front receptacle for gripping around a sole tip region and a rear pivotable hook which engages around a portion of the sole heel when the iron is deposited and can be secured in its securing position via a lever. However, the disadvantage of this solution is the relatively complicated pivoting and securing mechanism of the hook. Furthermore, in this and in all of the aforementioned ironing stations, in which only the securing of the iron to the base in the sole area is disadvantageous that thereby the base depends solely on the sole of the iron during transport of the ironing station.
The object of the invention is to provide a base for an ironing station, which eliminates the aforementioned disadvantages and enables secure attachment of an iron, as well as to provide an ironing station, which is made compact. This object is achieved by a base for an ironing station with the features of patent claim 1 and by an ironing station with the features of claim 15. Advantageous embodiments and developments, which are used individually or in combination with each other, are the subject of the respective dependent claims. A base according to the invention for an ironing station for depositing an iron has a fastening device for fastening the iron. According to the invention, the fastening device has a securing element for securing a front sole portion of the iron and a pivotable holding element for gripping around a rear housing portion of the iron. In addition, the base according to the invention has a positioning device for positioning the retaining element in a release position and in a securing position.
The fastening device in combination with the positioning device enables a reliable attachment of the iron both longitudinally and transversely to the base, so that the base can be transported as a stable unit when the iron is received. In this case, the stresses on the base are optimally introduced into the iron by the sole side and the housing side attachment of the iron to the base. In addition, the fastening device requires only a minimum number of movable parts. In particular, the parking of the office geleisens easier, since it is prevented by the positioning of the holding element in the release position, that the holding element can pivot automatically in a base-side storage area for the iron. The stability of the attachment of the iron to the base can be further improved if the securing element is preferably designed to be stationary.
In a preferred embodiment, the positioning device is a latching device for latching the retaining element in the release position and in the securing position, which is preferably prestressed, in particular in the direction of the respective position. This results in a reliable locking of the retaining element and in particular the retaining element is automatically locked or fixed in position by the biasing force both in its release position and in its securing position.
Preferably, the at least one latching device has a latching section with two latching elements associated with at least one pivoting arm of the holding element and having a rotational axis near the latching section. In a further development, a housing-side counter element cooperating with the latching section is provided. As a result, a latching-axis-related latching advantageously takes place, as a result of which the latching device can be made compact and rigid in terms of deformation.
The compactness and robustness of the at least one latching device can be improved if the latching section is preferably a latching ring mounted on a bearing section of the at least one pivoting arm.
The latching device has a minimum number of parts, if the latching elements are preferably recesses and / or the counter-element is preferably an axially displaceable latching lug.
To simplify the transfer of the retaining element from the release position to the securing position, the release recess is preferably flatter, ie, formed with a smaller radial extent than the securing recess. Alternatively, the release recess may also have a different shape than the securing recess, so that the latch can not dive so far in the release recess. To protect the at least one latching device against damage or soiling, it may be arranged in a housing chamber, which preferably has a slot for passing through the at least one pivoting arm.
Preferably, the at least one latching device is arranged laterally of a storage area of the iron. In this way, advantageously, the storage area can be formed precisely matching the sole and thus support a lateral securing of the iron, in particular by the holding element, for example, by means of side walls. A particularly reliable securing of the iron to the base can be achieved if the holding element in a preferred embodiment has two pivot arms, which are connected to each other, for example via a transverse arm, and in particular two locking devices are provided for cooperation with one of the pivot arms. Thus, advantageously, the holding element can be made symmetrical and the forces to be absorbed by the holding element are distributed uniformly. In addition, the iron is sufficiently secured even in the unlikely event of a defect of one of the locking devices still at the base.
An ironing station according to the invention has an iron and a base for parking the iron with a fastening device, wherein the base has a securing element for securing a front sole portion of the iron and a pivotable holding element for encompassing a rear housing portion of the iron, and a positioning device for positioning the holding element in a release position and in a secure position.
In addition, the iron 2 has an outer shown in Figure 1 exemplified as a handwheel 16 actuator for controlling a arranged in the interior of its housing 6 electronics for setting a strap stage. The base 4 has a longitudinally convex upper housing wall 18, in which a storage area 20 is formed for parking the iron 2. The storage area 20 has a flat bottom surface which corresponds to a sole or ironing surface and which is stepped back or recessed at least in a middle section of the storage area relative to the housing wall 18.
To secure the iron 2 to the base 4, this has a fastening device with a front securing element 22 and with a rear-side or rear holding element 24.
As shown in detail in FIG. 2, the front securing element 22 is a fixed projection formed integrally with the base 4. The projection 22 has such a shape and is spaced from the bottom surface so that it can engage in the region of the sole tip 28 in the groove between the sole 12 and the housing 6 and defines a pocket 26 for receiving a sole tip 28. In order to avoid accidental contact of the user with the sole tip 28, a peripheral edge 30 is formed in the front region of the storage area 20. The support member 24 is formed according to the figure 3 as a U-shaped metal bracket with a plastic coating, the two pivot arms 32, 34 and a pivot arms 32, 34 interconnecting transverse arm 36 for grasping the rear housing portion and for engaging in the transverse groove 10 of the iron 2 has. The pivot arms 32, 34 have two mutually remote free end portions, which are formed as cylindrical bearing portions 38, 40. The bearing sections 38, 40 are each guided in a guide of the base 4 and define with the guides an axis of rotation 42 for pivoting the retaining element 24 from a release position to a securing position and vice versa. In this case, bearing sections 38, 40 are respectively positioned in a base-side housing chamber, not shown in the figures, laterally of the parking area 22, which each have a slot for guiding out the pivot arms 32, 34. As shown in Figure 1, the holding member 24 is pivoted back in the release position and the transverse arm 36 out of the transverse groove 10 of the iron 2, so that the iron 2 can be removed from the base 4 and arranged at this. In the securing position shown in Figure 4 holding element 24 is pre-pivoted and the transverse arm 36 engages positively in the transverse groove 10, whereby the iron 2 is secured in the longitudinal and transverse direction of the base 4 that the iron 2 with the base 4 as a Unit can be transported.
For releasably locking the retaining element 24 in the release position and in the securing position, as shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, a locking device 44 is provided in the region of the bearing sections 38, 40 of the pivot arms 32, 34. The two latching devices 44 each have a latching ring 46 rotatably mounted on the bearing sections 38, 40 with a peripheral release recess 48 and with a circumferential securing recess 50. In addition, the latching devices 44 each have an axially displaceable latching lug 52 arranged in the housing chamber for latching into the latching recess Recesses 48, 50. The locking lug 52 is biased in the direction of the locking ring 46 and cooperates with each one supported on a chamber wall 54 of the base 4 spring 56 which dips into a hollow cylindrical foot portion 58 of the locking lug 52 and engages a not numbered bottom surface , To simplify the transfer of the retaining element 24 from the release position to the securing position, the release recesses 48 are flatter, ie, formed with a smaller radial extent than the securing recesses 50. For depositing and removing the iron 2 from the base 4, the holding element 24 is to be arranged in the release position shown in Figure 5. In this, the transverse arm 36 is led out of the transverse groove 10 and the two locking lugs 52 engage in the respective release recess 48 a. To fix the iron 2 in the base 4, the holding element 24 is to be transferred to the securing position. For this purpose, it is against the biasing force of the spring 56 as shown in Figure 6 to pivot to the left about the axis of rotation 42 until the locking lugs 52 engage in the respective securing recess 50 and the transverse arm 36 is received in the transverse groove 10 of the iron 2. The base 4 and the iron 2 are ken now as a unit and can be easily transported by the iron handle 8.
For removal of the iron 2, the holding element 24 against the bias of the spring 56 by pivoting about the rotation axis 42 to the right to its release position to transfer, in the already explained in Figure 5, the locking lugs 52 are engaged in the respective release recess 48 and the transverse arm 36 is spaced from the transverse groove 10 and from the rear housing portion. The locking rings 46 are preferably designed such that they can be arranged both on the bearing portion 38 of the front according to the figures Schwenkarms 32, as well as on the bearing portion 40 of the rear pivot arm 34, whereby the two locking devices 44 of identical parts 46, 52, 56 exist, which greatly simplifies the assembly. For this purpose, as shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the latching rings 46 have a further circumferential release recess 48 'and a further circumferential securing recess 50' into which the latching lug 52 engages when the latching ring 46 is mounted on the rear pivot arm 34.
