Abstract
The invention relates to a flat-plate solar collector comprising a base element and a transparent element, a working chamber being provided between the base element and the transparent element, that is at least partially filled with a working fluid that at least partially evaporates when the sun irradiates the flat-plate solar collector. The base element and transparent element are generally plate-shaped, the working chamber is provided with supporting elements that lie on the base element and on the transparent element, and the working chamber is also provided, at least in sections, with a capillary absorber material that absorbs the working fluid in the liquid state and distributes same in the working chamber by means of capillary action. The flat-plate solar collector according to the invention can be used in solar thermal systems according to the heat pipe principle, with combined heat and power generation.
