Abstract

The utility model relates to the field of medicine and can be used as an inhaler-type symptomatic treatment means for self-administered analgesia. This utility model is intended to solve the problem of producing an individual inhaler-type pain relief means with broad technical capabilities resulting in an increase in the field of use of the means both in domestic settings and small medical facilities as well as in field and travel conditions, for example in flight or in emergency medical care, since no special instructions or auxiliary devices are required. In order to solve this problem, the individual inhaler-type pain relief means comprises a gas cylinder with a volume of not more than 4.39 litres at a pressure of not more than 45 atmospheres, containing oxygen and nitrous oxide and/or xenon, wherein the gas cylinder is provided with a controllable outlet valve to enable the metered supply of a gas mixture containing not less than 20 percent by volume oxygen to the lungs of the user.
