Abstract

La présente invention a trait à un four permettant de chauffer des aliments. Le four est équipé au moins d'un compartiment de chauffage pourvu d'une paroi latérale gauche, d'une paroi latérale droite, d'une paroi arrière, d'une paroi supérieure, d'une paroi inférieure et d'une partie avant ouverte, sans porte, en communication ouverte avec l'environnement à l'extérieur du four. Des ouvertures d'écoulement de gaz sont prévues sur les parois latérales gauche et droite. Le four inclut un ventilateur permettant de souffler le gaz à travers les ouvertures d'écoulement de gaz jusque dans le compartiment de chauffage et un dispositif de chauffage permettant de chauffer le gaz soufflé dans le compartiment de chauffage par l'intermédiaire des ouvertures. Selon certains modes de réalisation, les ouvertures d'écoulement de gaz sont configurées de manière à ce que sensiblement tout le gaz soufflé dans le compartiment de chauffage soit dirigé en règle générale de manière à s'éloigner de la partie avant ouverte du compartiment.
