Abstract

The invention relates to a device (1) for the application of meltable products, especially depilatory wax, said device comprising a casing (2) that can be held with one hand and is open at the top, defining a cavity (3) that forms a container for receiving the plug of a storage element (4) containing wax and comprising dispensing means (5). Said casing has a male connector (6) for connecting to the female couplings of an electrical plug, the terminals (7) of the male connector being permanently connected, by means of low-resistivity electrical connection means (9c), to heating means (9) essentially powered by the voltage of the electrical grid and arranged in the container facing at least one of the sides of the storage element containing the wax.
