Abstract

La présente invention concerne un dispositif d'affichage d'image tridimensionnelle, et plus particulièrement un dispositif d'affichage d'image stéréoscopique d'un procédé de division de polarisation utilisant un ralentisseur de motifs constitué d'un film de cristaux liquides photoréticulable. La présente invention est caractérisée en ce que divers films organiques sont utilisés comme bases pour la fabrication du ralentisseur de motifs au lieu du verre existant. Les films polymères organiques sont peu coûteux, minces, et légers et la reproductibilité du processus de fabrication du dispositif d'affichage d'image est élevée par rapport au verre qui présente une propriété inorganique et peuvent améliorer la fiabilité sur le long terme du ralentisseur de motifs en y ajoutant une fonction à l'épreuve des rayons ultraviolets. Un facteur de contraste et une luminance et analogues sont améliorés grâce à l'utilisation de diverses caractéristiques optiques telles que des indices de réfraction ou une double réfraction des films. Ainsi, il est possible de former un dispositif d'affichage d'image tridimensionnelle présentant une sensibilité tridimensionnelle améliorée.
