Abstract

La presente invención se relaciona con el uso de un extracto fenólico de miel unifloral de ulmo (Eucryphia cordifolia,) que sirve como desinfectante y sanitizante para uso sanitario y doméstico, como también para aplicación tópica o sistémica como bactericida y fungicida en seres vivos, tales como animales y el hombre; procedimiento para obtener un extracto fenólico de miel unifloral de ulmo y una composición natural desinfectante y sanitizante que comprende al menos un 60% de extractos fenólicos hidrosolubles de miel unifloral de ulmo como ingrediente activo y a lo más de un 40% de un vehículo aceptable.
