Abstract

L'invention concerne un assemblage de plaques polarisantes couplées comprenant une première et une seconde plaque polarisante couplées dans lesquelles des films de compensation présentant des propriétés optiques spécifiques sont stratifiés, ainsi qu'un affichage à cristaux liquides. L'assemblage de plaques polarisantes couplées de l'invention se prête facilement à la production en série tout en garantissant un angle de visualisation étendu égal ou supérieur à celui aux assemblages connus de l'art antérieur grâce à l'adoption, par l'assemblage de plaques polarisantes couplées, d'un mode de cristaux liquides à phase bleue.
