Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft Verfahren zur technischen Pyrolyse von einem Kohlenhydrat oder Kohlenhydratgemisch bei erhöhter Temperatur unter Zusatz von Siliciumoxid, ein so erhältliches Pyrolyseprodukt und dessen Verwendung als Reduktionsmittel bei der Herstellung von Solarsilicium aus Kieselsäure und Kohlenstoff bei hoher Temperatur.
