Abstract
The present invention relates to a tracking apparatus applied to a solar apparatus, including a solar energy converting unit for converting incident solar light energy directly into electrical energy, a tracker for tracking the Sun in such a manner that the solar energy converting unit generates the maximum output, and a support post fixed on the ground to support the tracker. The tracker includes an azimuth angle adjustment unit coupled to the solar energy converting unit, and an altitude adjustment unit spaced apart from the azimuth angle adjustment unit such that the altitude adjustment unit is tilted from the back toward the front of the azimuth angle adjustment unit. The azimuth angle adjustment unit rotates relative to the support post to adjust an azimuth angle.
