Abstract

An electrical generator using renewable energy sources, characterised by comprising: - a wind generator (4) which is supported by a support structure (2) provided with a fixing base (8), has a rotor with at least five blades (22), and is covered upperly with photovoltaic panels (32, 32') supported by the same support structure (2), - means for orientating said support structure (2) relative to its fixing base (8) and acting in the sense of orientating said structure both about a horizontal axis and about a vertical axis, - means (38, 40) for determining the wind intensity and/or direction and for determining the presence of sunlight, and - a control unit for said means for orientating said support structure (2) on the basis of the signals originating from said determination means (38, 40).
