Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a collapsible container comprising layers of edge-sealed polymeric film, forming compartments to keep and segregate different contents. If all layers of film are made of non-permeable materials, the segregations protect the contents from being moistened, oxidizing with air and enable avoidance of possible reactions among the contents.
  • the formation of edge-sealed film provides collapsibility to the container to allow dispensing in a more complete and convenient manner, when one of the edges is cut or torn open.
  • the material(s) used to form the film in the invention is subject to the contents packed, and in general, is cost-effective.
  • the invention can be accompanied with exemplary packaging properties such as airtight, lightproof, leakproof, tamper-proof, non-corrosive and suitable for sterilization process.
  • both colorant and oxidizing agent are kept in separate containers (i.e. plastic bottle, metallic can or tube) and often supplied to consumers in more than one dose in each unit sold.
  • the content(s) may be subjected to oxidization before use, moistened, leakage and difficulty in dispensing right ratio; thus, resulting in less ideal outcome.
  • the balance of dye after first use, which is being oxidized and supposed to be discarded is often kept for next use by many consumers. Abstract
