Abstract
L'invention porte sur un procédé et un appareil destinés à améliorer la sécurité d'une procédure chirurgicale mettant en jeu l'administration d'énergie laser à un tissu, lequel procédé implique l'amélioration ou l'augmentation de la détectabilité d'un rayonnement émis par le tissu ou par toute partie d'un instrument chirurgical ou dispositif par la fourniture d'un matériau sacrificiel qui absorbe le rayonnement émis durant la procédure chirurgicale, augmentant ainsi la température d'une surface sur laquelle le matériau est disposé et/ou provoquant un rayonnement néfaste devant être émis de telle sorte qu'il peut être détecté par surveillance de la température de la surface et/ou du rayonnement, incluant une lumière infrarouge et/ou visible, émis par la surface. Dans un mode de réalisation préféré de l'invention, le matériau absorbant le rayonnement est une gaine conçue pour entourer la fibre.
