Abstract

An odour extraction system (1) for extracting odours from a toilet pan of a toilet pan (3) and cistern (2) combination, the system comprising a housing defining an air passageway extending therethrough between an air inlet port (18) and an air outlet port (19), an air urging means for urging air through the air passageway from the air inlet port to the air outlet port, a filter (24) for filtering out foul odours in the air being urged by the urging means (20) through the air passageway, the air passageway being in fluid communication with the toilet pan via an overflow tube extending into the cistern.
