Definitions
- the present invention relates to a water-in-oil emulsified cosmetic. More specifically, the present invention relates to an invention in which emulsification stability is particularly greatly improved in a water-in-oil emulsified cosmetic containing a poorly water-soluble UV absorber and a highly polar oil.
- a water-in-oil type (W / O type) emulsified cosmetic containing an ultraviolet absorber As an emulsifier for this water-in-oil emulsified cosmetic, generally, a polyhydric alcohol fatty acid ester-based active agent such as glycerin fatty acid ester or sorbitan fatty acid ester; a modified organopolysiloxane-based activity such as polyether-modified silicone or polyglycerin-modified silicone The agent is being used.
- polyether-modified silicone is widely used from the viewpoint of emulsion stability (see, for example, Patent Documents 1 to 5).
- the benzotriazole derivative of the formula (I) is a known compound, and is incorporated in sunscreen cosmetics as a useful ultraviolet absorber (see, for example, Patent Documents 6 to 8).
- the present inventors can provide a water-in-oil emulsified cosmetic that can be blended with a sufficient amount of a poorly water-soluble UV absorber, has an excellent emulsification stability, and is excellent in use feeling.
- a polyoxyethylene-polydimethylsiloxyethyl-dimethicone copolymer yields the desired water-in-oil emulsified cosmetic, completing the present invention. It came to do.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a water-in-oil emulsified cosmetic that can contain a sufficiently water-insoluble UV absorber, has an excellent emulsification stability, and has an excellent feeling in use.
- the present invention provides a water-in-oil emulsification characterized by further containing a component (E) in a water-in-oil emulsified cosmetic containing the following components (A), (B), (C), and (D): It provides cosmetics.
- A Benzotriazole derivative represented by formula (I)
- B High polar oil component
- C Silicone oil
- D Water
- the present invention also provides that the component (A) benzotriazole derivative is 2- [4- (2-ethylhexyloxy) -2-hydroxyphenyl] -2H-benzotriazole, 2- (2-hydroxy-4-iso
- the water-in-oil emulsified cosmetic is characterized in that it is one or more selected from butoxyphenyl) -2H-benzotriazole.
- the present invention is characterized by containing 0.1 to 10% by mass of the component (A) and 0.005 to 5% by mass of the component (E) with respect to the total amount of the water-in-oil emulsified cosmetic.
- the above-mentioned water-in-oil emulsified cosmetic is provided.
- the water-in-oil emulsified cosmetic of the present invention is extremely excellent in emulsion stability even when a large amount of highly polar oil is blended. Therefore, it is possible to stably and highly blend the desired amount of the poorly water-soluble UV absorber including the benzotriazole derivative.
- the water-in-oil emulsified cosmetic of the present invention is more stable with (E) alkyl PEG / PPG polydimethylsiloxane ethyl dimethicone in a smaller blending amount than when emulsified with conventional polyether-modified silicone. Can be emulsified. Therefore, there is little stickiness and it is excellent in usability.
- a benzotriazole derivative is selected from 2- [4- (2-ethylhexyloxy) -2-hydroxyphenyl] -2H-benzotriazole and 2- (2-hydroxy-4-isobutoxyphenyl) -2H-benzotriazole. It is preferable that it is 1 type, or 2 or more types selected.
- the amount of component (A) is not particularly limited. It is usually about 0.1 to 10% by mass with respect to the total amount of the water-in-oil emulsified cosmetic. Since it is possible to stably add a high amount according to the present invention, the content is preferably 1.0 to 10% by mass with respect to the total amount of the water-in-oil emulsified cosmetic.
- the highly polar oil component is preferably, for example, a synthetic ester oil. This is because the component (A) is easily dissolved.
- Synthetic esters include: tripropylene glycolineopentanoate, isononyl isononanoate, isopropyl myristate, cetyl octanoate, octyldodecyl myristate, isopropyl palmitate, butyl stearate, hexyl laurate, myristyl myristate, decyl oleate, dimethyloctane Hexyldecyl acid, cetyl lactate, myristyl lactate, lanolin acetate, isocetyl stearate, isocetyl isostearate, cholesteryl 12-hydroxystearate, ethylene glycol di-2-ethylhexanoate, dipentaerythritol fatty acid ester, N
- the amount of component (B) is preferably 0.1 to 20% by mass based on the total amount of the water-in-oil emulsified cosmetic. More preferably, it is 10 to 20% by mass. Since it is a component necessary for stably dissolving the component (A), the blending amount thereof is appropriately determined depending on the blending amount of the component (A).
- the silicone oil may be cyclic, linear or branched.
- dimethylpolysiloxane, methylphenylpolysiloxane, diethylpolysiloxane, ethylmethylpolysiloxane, ethylphenylpolysiloxane, dodecamethylcyclohexasiloxane, decamethylcyclopentasiloxane and the like are preferable. These may be used alone or as a mixture of two or more. Particularly preferred is decamethylcyclopentasiloxane.
- Component (C) is preferably blended in an amount of 0.1 to 50% by mass based on the total amount of the water-in-oil emulsified cosmetic.
- (D) Water constitutes the water phase of a water-in-oil emulsified cosmetic. Water and the aqueous component dissolved therein are the remainder of the oil phase component. The amount of water is preferably 15 to 99.6% by mass based on the total amount of the water-in-oil emulsified cosmetic.
- (E) Alkyl PEG / PPG polydimethylsiloxane ethyl dimethicone (E) As the alkyl PEG / PPG polydimethylsiloxane ethyl dimethicone, lauryl PEG-9 polydimethylsiloxyethyl dimethicone is preferably used. As a commercial item, KF6038 (made by Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd.) is mentioned, for example.
- the component (E) is a copolymer having a structure in which a dimethylsiloxane part and an alkyl part are branched, unlike a polyether-modified silicone in which a polyether group is attached to a conventional linear dimethylsiloxane chain. Since the dimethylsiloxane portion has a branched structure, the lipophilic group is bulky and large, the HLB is low, and the molecular weight is large. Moreover, since the alkyl part has a branched structure, the emulsion stability of the highly polar oil is excellent. The point which mixes a component (E) is the characteristic of this invention.
- Component (E) should be added in an amount of 0.005 to 5.0% by mass based on the total amount of the water-in-oil emulsified cosmetic. If it is less than 0.005% by mass, an oil phase containing a high amount of polar oil cannot be emulsified. Conversely, if it exceeds 5.0% by mass, the spread is poor and the feeling of use becomes heavy.
- Oil In the oil phase, in addition to the oil components (B) and (C), various oil components used in ordinary emulsion compositions for cosmetics can be used as long as the uniformity of the oil phase is not impaired. Examples thereof include liquid, pasty or solid hydrocarbons such as liquid paraffin and squalane; waxes; higher fatty acids; higher alcohols; oils such as glycerides. These oil components are blended in an amount of 0.1% by mass to 10% by mass with respect to the total amount of the water-in-oil emulsified cosmetic.
- aqueous components and oily components such as moisturizers, preservatives, antioxidants, cosmetic ingredients, vitamins, fragrances, fragrances, thickeners, Powders (color pigments, bright pigments, organic powders, metal oxides, etc.), tar dyes, and the like can be blended within a range that does not impair the effects of the present invention.
- the powder is preferably a hydrophobized powder. When the hydrophobized powder is blended, the sticky feeling can be reduced without impairing the stability.
- Specific products of the water-in-oil emulsified cosmetic of the present invention include emulsions or cream-like products such as emulsions, skin creams, hair creams, liquid foundations, eye liners, mascaras, eye shadows and the like.
- the water-in-oil emulsified cosmetic of the present invention is produced according to a conventional method according to a specific product by appropriately mixing the ingredients.
- a compounding quantity is the mass%.
- the sunscreen was manufactured by mixing the following components. It was filled in a sample tube, left in a constant temperature layer of ⁇ 5 ° C. for 1 month, and visually observed.
- ABIL EM 90 (Degussa): cetyl PEG / PPG-10 / 1 dimethicone silicone KF6017 (Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd.): PEG-10 dimethicone silicone KF6038 (Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd.): alkyl PEG / PPG polydimethylsiloxane ethyl dimethicone
- Comparative Example 1 uses cetyl PEG / PPG-10 / 1 dimethicone, and Comparative Example 2 uses PEG-10 dimethicone.
- the low temperature stability of Example 1 is extremely superior to Comparative Examples 1 and 2. Furthermore, the usability of Example 1 is also excellent.
- Example 2 Sunscreen” Decamethylcyclopentasiloxane 20% by mass Trimethylsiloxysilicate 1 Trioctanoin 2.5 Lauryl PEG-9 polydimethylsiloxyethyl dimethicone 1 Dipropylene glycol 4 Diisopropyl sebacate 5 Silicone coated fine particle titanium oxide (20nm) 10 Talc (hydrophobized product) 6 Paraben appropriate amount phenoxyethanol appropriate amount trisodium edetate 0.02 4-tert-butyl-4'-methoxydibenzoylmethane 0.1 2- [4- (2-Ethylhexyloxy) -2-hydroxyphenyl] -2H-benzotriazole 3 Octocrylene 5 Spherical polyethylene powder 5 Dimethyl distearyl ammonium hectorite 1 Purified water Residual perfume Appropriate amount production method The water phase is added to the mixed oil liquid at room temperature using a high-speed stirrer and gradually added to the oil phase while stirring

Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a water-in-oil emulsified cosmetic. More specifically, the present invention relates to an invention in which emulsification stability is particularly greatly improved in a water-in-oil emulsified cosmetic containing a poorly water-soluble UV absorber and a highly polar oil.
As a cosmetic for protecting skin and hair from ultraviolet rays, a water-in-oil type (W / O type) emulsified cosmetic containing an ultraviolet absorber is used. As an emulsifier for this water-in-oil emulsified cosmetic, generally, a polyhydric alcohol fatty acid ester-based active agent such as glycerin fatty acid ester or sorbitan fatty acid ester; a modified organopolysiloxane-based activity such as polyether-modified silicone or polyglycerin-modified silicone The agent is being used.
In particular, polyether-modified silicone is widely used from the viewpoint of emulsion stability (see, for example, Patent Documents 1 to 5).
On the other hand, the benzotriazole derivative of the formula (I) is a known compound, and is incorporated in sunscreen cosmetics as a useful ultraviolet absorber (see, for example, Patent Documents 6 to 8).
When a polyether-modified silicone is used to improve the emulsion stability of a water-in-oil emulsion cosmetic, the following problems arise.
(1) When a high polar oil content is highly blended, it is difficult to ensure sufficient emulsification stability.
(2) There is a little stickiness. Therefore, in order to reduce stickiness, an emulsifying power capable of stably emulsifying even with a smaller blending amount has been required.

Therefore, when a poorly water-soluble UV absorber is highly blended, it has been extremely difficult to ensure sufficient emulsification stability with the polyether-modified silicone.
Moreover, in order to reduce stickiness, the emulsification power which can be stably emulsified even with a smaller blending amount is required.
In view of the above-mentioned viewpoints, the present inventors can provide a water-in-oil emulsified cosmetic that can be blended with a sufficient amount of a poorly water-soluble UV absorber, has an excellent emulsification stability, and is excellent in use feeling. As a result of diligent research, it was surprisingly found that the use of a polyoxyethylene-polydimethylsiloxyethyl-dimethicone copolymer yields the desired water-in-oil emulsified cosmetic, completing the present invention. It came to do.
An object of the present invention is to provide a water-in-oil emulsified cosmetic that can contain a sufficiently water-insoluble UV absorber, has an excellent emulsification stability, and has an excellent feeling in use.

(A) A benzotriazole derivative is selected from 2- [4- (2-ethylhexyloxy) -2-hydroxyphenyl] -2H-benzotriazole and 2- (2-hydroxy-4-isobutoxyphenyl) -2H-benzotriazole. It is preferable that it is 1 type, or 2 or more types selected.
The amount of component (A) is not particularly limited.

Among these, tripropylene dineopentanoate, isononyl isononanoate, cetyl octoate, isopropyl palmitate, pentaerythritol tetra-2-ethylhexanoate, glycerin trioctanoate, di-2-ethylhexyl sebacate, diisopropyl sebacate, succinic acid Di2-ethylhexyl is particularly preferably used.
The amount of component (B) is preferably 0.1 to 20% by mass based on the total amount of the water-in-oil emulsified cosmetic. More preferably, it is 10 to 20% by mass.
Since it is a component necessary for stably dissolving the component (A), the blending amount thereof is appropriately determined depending on the blending amount of the component (A).
"(C) Silicone oil"
(C) The silicone oil may be cyclic, linear or branched. For example, dimethylpolysiloxane, methylphenylpolysiloxane, diethylpolysiloxane, ethylmethylpolysiloxane, ethylphenylpolysiloxane, dodecamethylcyclohexasiloxane, decamethylcyclopentasiloxane and the like are preferable. These may be used alone or as a mixture of two or more. Particularly preferred is decamethylcyclopentasiloxane.
Component (C) is preferably blended in an amount of 0.1 to 50% by mass based on the total amount of the water-in-oil emulsified cosmetic.
"(D) Water"
(D) Water constitutes the water phase of a water-in-oil emulsified cosmetic. Water and the aqueous component dissolved therein are the remainder of the oil phase component. The amount of water is preferably 15 to 99.6% by mass based on the total amount of the water-in-oil emulsified cosmetic.
市販品としては、例えば、KF6038(信越化学工業社製)が挙げられる。
"(E) Alkyl PEG / PPG polydimethylsiloxane ethyl dimethicone"
(E) As the alkyl PEG / PPG polydimethylsiloxane ethyl dimethicone, lauryl PEG-9 polydimethylsiloxyethyl dimethicone is preferably used. As a commercial item, KF6038 (made by Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd.) is mentioned, for example.
By the way, the component (E) is a copolymer having a structure in which a dimethylsiloxane part and an alkyl part are branched, unlike a polyether-modified silicone in which a polyether group is attached to a conventional linear dimethylsiloxane chain.
Component (E) should be added in an amount of 0.005 to 5.0% by mass based on the total amount of the water-in-oil emulsified cosmetic. If it is less than 0.005% by mass, an oil phase containing a high amount of polar oil cannot be emulsified. Conversely, if it exceeds 5.0% by mass, the spread is poor and the feeling of use becomes heavy.
"Optional ingredients"
(1) “Oil”
In the oil phase, in addition to the oil components (B) and (C), various oil components used in ordinary emulsion compositions for cosmetics can be used as long as the uniformity of the oil phase is not impaired.
(2) “Other ingredients”
In the water-in-oil emulsified cosmetic of the present invention, commonly used aqueous components and oily components such as moisturizers, preservatives, antioxidants, cosmetic ingredients, vitamins, fragrances, fragrances, thickeners, Powders (color pigments, bright pigments, organic powders, metal oxides, etc.), tar dyes, and the like can be blended within a range that does not impair the effects of the present invention.
You may mix | blend ultraviolet absorbers other than a component (A) suitably.
The powder is preferably a hydrophobized powder. When the hydrophobized powder is blended, the sticky feeling can be reduced without impairing the stability.
