Abstract

Beschrieben wird ein Implantat, welches wenigstens bereichsweise im implantierten Zustand in den Oberflächenbereichen, die wenigstens mittelbar mit Hart-und /oder Weichgewebe in Kontakt stehen, eine Beschichtung aufweist. Das Implantat ist bevorzugtermassen dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Beschichtung sowohl ein Statin wie beispielsweise Simvastatin in der hydrolysierten oder unhydrolysierten Form oder pharmazeutisch verträgliche Salze davon als auch wenigstens eine weitere Komponente ausgewählt aus der Gruppe der verzweigten oder linearen, substituierten oder unsubstituierten, gesättigten oder teilweise ungesättigten C10-C30 Alkyl-, Alkenyl-, Alkylaryl-, Aryl-, Cycloalkyl-, Alkylcycloalkyl-, Alkylcycloaryl-Amine oder Mischungen davon und/oder wenigstens eine wasserlösliche ionische polymere Komponente enthält. Des weiteren wird ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines derartigen Implantates beschrieben sowie eine Zusammensetzung, welche in einem derartigen Verfahren eingesetzt werden kann.
