Abstract

La presente invenciόn se desarrolla en el campo de Ia medicina. Particularmente, Ia presente invenciόn se relaciona con dispositivos inmovilizadores temporales y desechables del tipo ferulas ortopedicas para Ia atenciόn y cuidado de pacientes en Ia etapa pre-hospitalaria y de primeros auxilios. Especificamente, los dispositivos de Ia presente invenciόn permiten Ia inmovilizaciόn de algunas partes de los pacientes, tales como cuello, pierna, brazo, antebrazo y mano, cuando dichos miembros son lesionados, para de esta manera reducir Ia posibilidad de ocasionar una lesion de mayor gravedad o complicaciones posteriores. Los dispositivos inmovilizadores de Ia presente invenciόn resultan mas econόmicos que los dispositivos disponibles en Ia actualidad, dado que emplean materiales econόmicos; ademas, por su naturaleza desechable disminuyen considerablemente las posibilidades de infecciones dado que son dispositivos desechables que no son empleados para diferentes pacientes; y finalmente son ergonόmicos Io cual reduce considerablemente las molestias en los pacientes.
