Abstract

A component, particularly for children's building kits, is provided, on the upper side of which primary connecting means for an insertion connection are located, said means having the shape of at least two attachments with walls perpendicular to said upper side, and in the opposing parallel side of which secondary connecting means with walls that are perpendicular to said opposing side are located, wherein the walls forming an insertion connection with each other are substantially planar. In said component, an angle (α) between adjoining walls (5) of the attachment (2) is 360ºIn, with n being a value of 6 or 8, wherein two of the attachments (2) are rotated relative to each other by half an angle (α).
