Abstract

大型の装置を用いず、小さなエネルギーで、セルロース系バイオマス原料からのリグニンの解離、ヘミセルロースの低分子化、セルロースの結晶化度の低減ができるセルロース系バイオマス原料の前処理方法を提供する。所定の間隔を存して相対向して配置された１対の砥石２，３の間に、該セルロース系バイオマス原料と水とを連続して供給し、砥石２を固定し、砥石３を回転させて、該セルロース系バイオマス原料を摩砕する。摩砕される該セルロース系バイオマス原料の温度が５０～１００°Cの範囲となるように該水の供給量を制御する。前記水の供給量の制御は、摩砕される前記セルロース系バイオマス原料の温度を測定し、該温度によるフィードバック制御により行う。前記セルロース系バイオマス原料は、稲わらである。
