Abstract

 本発明は、表示装置の光源がPWM駆動される場合に、データ信号に含まれる突発性ノイズを低減して、誤りなく赤外線通信を行うことを目的とする。  液晶テレビ(300)のランプ(320)をパルス幅変調駆動または連続駆動のいずれによって駆動するかを決める駆動設定信号が制御部(50)に与えられると、制御部(50)は、与えられた駆動設定信号に基づいて、周波数フィルタ部(20)にレジスタ(50b)内の閾値を設定する。さらに、ランプ(320)からの赤外光が受光されると、波形解析部(30)から与えられる突発性ノイズの発生頻度(Jf)に基づいて、設定された閾値を見直す。そして、携帯電話(200)から送信されるデータ信号に含まれている突発性ノイズを周波数フィルタ部(20)によって低減した後、データ信号を液晶テレビ(300)に送信する。
