Abstract
La presente invención tiene por objeto un dispositivo que permite la concentración óptica de los rayos luminosos que inciden sobre una parte del mismo denominada 'superficie o área de iluminación o captación (AI)' en otra parte del dispositivo, denominada 'superficie o área de concentración (AC)'. El sensor o célula sobre el que se desee hacer incidir la luz concentrada se sitúa en la posición definida como AC. Este sistema óptico puede utilizarse en sistemas de producción de energía eléctrica mediante la conversión de energía solar, situando en AC una célula fotovoltaica o dispositivo análogo o en cualquier otro montaje en el que interese conseguir una concentración de luz muy alta en un área (AC) mucho menor que la superficie sobre la que incide la luz (AI). Entre las aplicaciones del dispositivo destaca particularmente la generación de energía eléctrica a partir de energía solar mediante sistemas fotovoltaicos de alta concentración.
