Abstract
本発明は、血液中に含まれる光感受性物質からの蛍光の影響を除去して、病変領域の位置や範囲をより正確に特定できる蛍光観察装置に関する。蛍光観察装置は、可視照明光を照射する照明光源と、励起光を照射する励起光源と、赤外光を照射する赤外光源と、観察領域からの反射光を可視光成分および蛍光成分を含む第一の分離光と赤外光成分を含む第二の分離光とに分離する光分離手段と、第一の分離光から励起光成分を除去する励起光除去手段と、励起光成分を除去された第一の分離光を撮像する第一の撮像手段と、第二の分離光を撮像する第二の撮像手段と、第一の撮像手段および第二の撮像手段により撮像された画像を一の画像に合成する画像合成手段とを有する。蛍光観察装置は、赤外光像から血管の位置を特定し、可視光蛍光像から血液中の光感受性物質由来の蛍光成分を除去することで、病変領域の位置や範囲を正確に特定する。
